HG101, how did you get all those bruises and cuts? Oh, you fell down some stairs, okay.
What's wrong Mega Man fans, why are you crying and why do you have two black eyes? Oh, you fell into Capcom's fist, twice, I understand.

Rare footage of Capcom treating Mega Man and his fans with a modicum of respect over the past few years.

I find it amazing that Capcom has time for a bullshit crossover with Hello Kitty, but not one with Konami. Yes, I still want a Konami vs. Capcom game, preferably a fighter.

In this one case (as upset as I am about Capcom's behavior this week), I must play devil's advocate. That particular poll chucat refers to was not an official poll done by Capcom, but one a fan did on their own accord at the Unity forums. Capcom claimed to have looked at it, but it never was sanctioned or endorsed by Capcom. With that being said, I'd really like to see their own pool list to understand their roster choices a bit better. I'm guessing that was internally done? They mention Gene being on it, as well as Classic Mega Man, but they didn't make the cut for one reason or another. Fan support did get Capcom to work out Strider's licensing for UMvC3, but apparently X and Gene fans weren't loud enough or something. XD

By the way, gamefaq is running a most hated publisher today, no points for guessing the top two.

The third one is EA, neither a surprise. In my book EA has actually risen from most hated publisher of 'em all up to being probably my most liked big-ass third-party-publisher. Seriously, they have been churning out great games and some experimental titles constantly over these past few years and I can't really think of any crappy games except for the usual stuff I'm simply not interested in (sports and The Sims). My EA hate is a thing of a nearly forgotten past...and before said past lies an even better past, due to Road Rage, BOB and stuff.

You're right. Curse the generic title.

I was never into EA back in the day, but they've gotten a lot of games lately that I really like, like Mass Effect, Dead Space, and Shadows of the Damned. They're also one of my favorite third-party publishers today. I think some of their non-development related stuff like Origin is bullshit, but I am liking a lot of their games lately.
