I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB against Sega for their use of the term "blast processing." And for the fraudulent claim that Sega does what Nintendon't in regards to said blast processing.

I'm going to sue Square for making more than one Final Fantasy.

As disappointed as I am with Mass Effect 3's ending, if people actually successfully sued BioWare based on this, the precedent that this would set could potentially be catastrophic. Companies would be incredibly wary to do a number of things with their games, and this could change the entire process of how games are developed and marketed.

Let 'em try I say.

What X-pert means, I think, it's not about devs and publishers becoming less bombastic and more realistic (which, however, may risk to cause a strange double standard: why other sectors of entertainment, like movies and music, can use hype and bombast and videogames cannot? It's all or none), but taking even less risks than they do now, as I said earlier, because they wouldn't want to try anything that could even remotely disappoint "the public".

The precedent this sets is beyond stupid. I don't care how upset people are over one game. It's not worth screwing up the entire game industry and setting developers back a couple of years.

NOTHING will come of this. It's just a random bit of news.

I rarely resort to swearing, but for fucks sake, some gamers are stupid self-entitled little bitches.

My current bitch about ME3 is that now everybody's exploiting a money glitch, so there's even more of the disparity between normal players and the psychotic, obsessed types that will instantly boot you for not having a 500+ N7 level or a Black Widow X or whatever. I was really looking forward to the new multiplayer DLC but the fact that actually playing fair gets you jack and shit kind of made it all seem pointless to me.

I seriously don't care about that because the diference between weapons is not that big, I still can beat in the score to people using widows X and Geth´s X using my old trusty Avenger X. Big damage in this game is made from skills like Overload or Biotic Explosions, weapons do pitiful damage on gold regardless what are you using.
Cheating is their problem nor yours, I got 100% fun from the game instead of farming boring geths over and over in the same map.
The real problem in all his is really the random generated drops, it would be much better if you could buy what you wanted instead of having to pray the Random Number God. Seriously I would gladly pay 200,000 credits for a single +1 to a weapon I want to use. But they aren't going to change it because some idiots spend tens of dollars in that random crap.

I shouldn't let it bother me I guess, but it's tough sometimes. I felt the same way about Demon's Souls.
As for the randomization...true dat. I'm pissed because I get lots of useless crap over and over (tons of thermal clip packs, and experience for the soldiers and other classes I don't use). It'd be nice to be able to pick at least to some degree what sort of stuff you could get - I'm always running low on medigel....then again like you said there'd be guys that abused the hell out of it.

That's why I really don't play MP games with random asshats if I can help it. I get enough of that with PUGs in World of Warcraft's dungeon finder and especially the Raid Finder.
But yeah, what Jason X said. A blog by a member of the BBB expressing her personal opinion doesn't mean the BBB is fining or penalizing anyone, or representing people who hated ME3's ending in a lawsuit.

I've had some good experiences, but they've just been with people I know. Most of the rest of the time the people are either fascists that scream at the other players, n00bs that waste your time, or obnoxious trolls that talk over everyone. I have no clue why I've played as much of the multiplayer as I have, to be honest with you.

Yeah, when it comes to Xbox Live I really only stick with friends. Sole exception was Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, where there was surprisingly little trash talking or ethnic/homophobic/misogynist slurs.
