It wasn't one of Sierra's Trophy Bass games, was it?

It could be but I can't quite find a screenshot to confirm it.
edit: you nailed it, I think it's the original Trophy Bass, but I'm having trouble finding a download for it.

Searching for a game that was described here a while back. Had a unique storyline about people in a house being killed because of a curse and then repeating the whole thing over again to solve even more of the mystery. Meaning they where killed and then brought back to life. Mighta revolved around the ghost of a witch. And I think it mighta been a PC adventure game or visual novel, really unsure.
Guy who posted about it wrote quite a bit about it like, several paragraphs and if I remember had pics which I don't remember to clearly of the characters. Musta been atleast over a year ago.

Sounds kinda like The 7th Guest offhand, but my knowledge of these types of games is VERY limited.

If I remember correctly the game was Japanese in style. Using an anime aesthetic and also each chapter of gameplay was different time loop you played through.

Nevermind. It was Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Turned out what reminded me of it was an anime based on the game that came before it, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

I have no idea, but I'm rather curious about it myself... I quite like Cabal-style games.

Quite possibly have mixed up the arcade board and developer. It might NOT be SEGA naomi game as I've been through and through on System16 trying to re-find the game (saw a video of it few days ago, but I didn't rememebr the title) no luck finding it under naomi and sega.
EDIT: Aaaaaaaaaand seconds later I find it under Namco on the Namco System10 hardware....

I bet no one will be able to find this one:
I played an arcade machine in mexico, it had Pacman but you could collect caps that would give you powers (shoot lasers and such) it went on regular pacman fashion whilts adding this powers however every 10 levels you would fight a boss.

DUDE!!!
you are a GOD!!
that's the one!
for the last 10 years I thought the game was a figment of my imagination and that maybe I was crazy and just thought it in my sleep or something.
thank you so much!

Okay, now that we have a thread I can always come back to and I have the memory of an amnesiac goldfish for this, I'll ask this one more time.
1: An adventure game set on a space station that apparently featured advanced NPC A.I., but was otherwise mediocre.
2: A first-person adventure game with Doom-style 2.5D graphics set in a haunted mansion. Might have been an action game instead.
I almost added a third, but I remembered it was called Normality.

1: An adventure game set on a space station that apparently featured advanced NPC A.I., but was otherwise mediocre. Sounds like Starship Titanic. I seem to remember the game being noted for it's AI and character interaction even if it didn't always work. 2: A first-person adventure game with Doom-style 2.5D graphics set in a haunted mansion. Might have been an action game instead. Could it be Realms of the Haunting? It was a mix of adventure and action and used the same 2.5D engine as Normality. The only other game that might fit the bill is Nitemare 3D, but I doubt that's it. Edit:Actually, I think the first game might be Sentient. The description you gave is identical to Mobygames'.
