I haven't gotten an email from them yet. Not like it really matters.
Most people are going to be placated by this token effort by Sony. The only people that are going to keep being mad are like the five people that use their PS3 as their dedicated source for FPSes and multiplayer games, typical mouthy fanboys that are all talk and no action, and greedy fucks hoping to make a buck by pushing a class-action lawsuit. Mostly the second subset. Oh, and whiny Linux enthusiasts and pirates that want to see Sony die no matter the cost, but they were going to bitch about Sony anyway.
And off the record, whoever is truly at fault at Sony will escape this unscathed. Sort of like how even if the culprits of the attack are caught, they'll escape with a slap on the wrist. That's just the way the world works.

No Email for me either though I never put my Credit account details into PSN juist used pointcards inatead so that might be why you have not got one. I never did put in credit info either and I did get an e-mail, so I don't think that's the reason.

All I know is that I'd like to get the other episodes of Back to the Future once PSN goes back up. I kept checking to see if they had been released, but I guess I missed a few.

In regards to whoever is at fault. There's probably like 3 departments to blame
Security probably said it wasn't neccesary Finance probably said it was too expensive Management probably agreed
Of course it's possible a single person vetoed security changes at some point - but with huge corporations you expect such a big decision to go through a bunch of senior managers and department heads.

Shit. I read something about SOE being down today, but I figured they were just restarting all of their services with new security measures. Jesus...

This is just getting silly, did some hacker put a blood vendetta on Sony? Also they may be in deep shit I'm fairly sure Europe takes company accountability damn seriously.

You know what, I miss ZZZ's hate preaching - he was kinda like this forums Rorscach with all his "the end is nigh" stuff.

PSN is apparently down until May 31st. This is fucking hilarious. No more "You can't say Microsoft would have done any better" bullshit, this is just beyond absurd.
