Nice! I could really use a shot of espresso right now. One of those mornings.

I just preordered
Boy Meets Girl (2014)
on Amazon. I rented a digital copy yesterday and loved it, so I wanna own a physical copy now.

Just now on Steam, I bought the Angry Video Game Nerd movie. I've never seen it before, yet I've been meaning to for awhile now, so I am hoping I enjoy it. I've heard a lot of people say it's bad, but I want to see it for myself, so I can make my own judgment.

I went to Amoeba Music today and bought The Cabin in the Woods on Blu Ray. I fucking love this movie, so I'm happy to now own it for myself Plus, I got a used copy, and the iTunes digital download code hadn't been redeemed, so I got a digital copy when I was expecting that to have been used up! Yay me.

About a week ago, I either lost or misplaced my dragon necklace I'm sad! I've had that necklace since high school! Damnit! So... I bought another one just like it online just now. I can't wait for it to arrive; I feel naked without my necklace. blegh.

Couldn't help myself when I spotted CalorieMate at the till when I was in Japan Centre, Picadilly Circus. Did a quick Google search to make sure I got the same one as in Metal Gear Solid 3. Apparently the red text one is chocolate, the black text one is cheese and the green text one is fruit!

Oh wow, I forgot about CalorieMate. I got a couple of those years back when I visited little Tokyo, because I really liked Metal Gear Solid 3 and thought it was cool that I could have CalorieMate in real life. It ended up tasting pretty bad to be honest. I got chocolate and I think fruit, if I recall correctly (whatever it was, I know it wasn't cheese-flavored).

That is so awesome. I didn't know it was a real thing. And thus, begun Metal Gear's insane love affair with real-world product placements...

Picked up Twilight Imperium recently and played my first game about a week ago. Nine and a half hours later, lost just before my moment of victory when one of my opponents snagged a highly improbable public objective and won before me (he had the second strategy card while I had the third, so he had priority on winning). It was a lot of fun, but it definitely seems to have earned it's imposing reputation.

Nice I dunno if this is the case for all models, but the difference between composite and RGB was like night and day on mine (Panasonic FS-A1F). Almost as drastic as the leap from composite to RGB for the Megadrive. What were you using before as your display?

Composite over a normal CRT TV. My MSX also finally got its RGB-out repaired, though I'd still need a proper SCART to BNC adpater. The one I bought originally didn't had any audio cables >_>

Dee LiteyearsWell, I think you are gonna be shocked at how much better it will look when all is said and done. It will totally all be worth it in the end.
