Sonofabitch. Any chance at getting a DLC pack with all the characters or are they actually changing the game too much? Wiki is listing four of them as being exclusive to Ultimate MvC3. Hawkeye, Firebrand, Strider and Ghost Rider. God damn, it's like everyone I'm interested in to play. |

I think I'm still gonna pass this one by, since I'm still not entirely satisfied with the roster. I'm just gonna wait for 4 to come out since I know that will have an even better roster.

Absoulutely, need Gene in this. Also, we were kinda warned about this even before the first version came out. Capcom heads talked about how they'd like to release a beefed up version eventually.
I just figured that like Super SFIV they'd wait a while, and more than likely they were, it's that the earth quake in Japan apparently threw a wrench in their side since everytime we mentioned the lack of DLC they'd bring up that, so DLC plans had to be reorganized. Still it's sad that this is the best solution they could come up with, I mean this soon? Couldn't they have atleast waited another year. Wonder, how much credit I can get for MvC3 at the moment.

Except for the fact that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was just the first one with the assist characters removed and all the missing characters from previous Marvel games brought back. It still sucks there's no Frank Castle though. I find the almost-simultaneous announcement of this game and the cancellation of Legends 3 hilarious. "No you can't have your long-awaited sequel to Mega Man Legends. Have another version of our endlessly rehashed fighting game instead." |
