I wouldn't trust wiki at the moment. Alotta info is gonna be changing. I wouldn't be surprised if this was all made available as a pack.

The first rule of Capcom fighters: Never buy the first or second edition. Ever.

See, the reason I didn't think they would do this is because they didn't do it for MvC2, right? Except for the fact that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was just the first one with the assist characters removed and all the missing characters from previous Marvel games brought back. It still sucks there's no Frank Castle though. I find the almost-simultaneous announcement of this game and the cancellation of Legends 3 hilarious. "No you can't have your long-awaited sequel to Mega Man Legends. Have another version of our endlessly rehashed fighting game instead." On the other hand, in terms of what I might call the "old guard", I think Ono's the only one who's still actually with the company.

Man, I hate being excited and upset at the same time. XD I guarantee Capcom's not seeing my money twice. I will likely get it, but I will buy it used or trade for it. Not forking out $110 for the game I should have gotten in the first place. *grumpy*

Yeah, but Ono didn't do that much during the making of the older games. He was only a sound guy in 3rd Strike and his debut game was Capcom Fighting Jam, which wasn't exactly the most popular Capcom fighting game ever.

Awesome. I don't like this series. I don't even care. Useless post!

The worst part is that a bunch of you morons complaining about this are going to buy it, anyway, then get even more pissed when another one happens and still feel entitled to complain about Capcom when you're throwing your money at them.

Yeah, I've noticed that most of the people who whine about sequels and rehashes are usually the ones who end up talking about them online and buying them the most.

Disney does own Marvel now, don't they...?

Yes they do.
Capcom is dumb for not doing talks about including Scrooge, Chip and Dale, etc. People would flip their shit.
Someone else requested Pirate Higemaru and Aunt May, and I have to agree.

It wouldn't be fair to the other characters. Aunt May would be God-tier.
