I like boobs, zombies, and chainsaws as much as the next guy, and Suda has great track record, yet this somehow doesn't seem to spark a lot of excitement in me. I must be getting old. Nah, i'm in the same boat. I really like Zombies, but damn they're used too much. And being the kind of guy that can't help but try to get into the story of games, i doubt this'll be good for me. Suppose i'll have to wait and see. |

This gets a big "meh" from me. I think I'm one of those people who just doesn't get Suda51.

Well you're in luck, Suda 51 hasn't really created anything at Grasshopper since No More Heroes 1. He's pretty much just a producer now. IMO,you can tell the distinct difference without his influence, and not for the better. I enjoy his particular flavor of crazy. Nothing if not unique.
That said, I still think this'll be great.

I'm a big Suda51 fan, but this just looked like No More Heroes: Zombie Killing Aryan Cheerleader Edition when I first saw it.
I mean I'll still buy it to be supportive... but... I think he is starting to see some more widespread appeal so he's getting lazy with his dope ultra convoluted-inspired-by-everything ideas and letting other people do the work for him. Plus, Grasshopper has more staff now... I dunno. They should just merge with Straight Story and take their sweet time to make games because Zenimax is so patient and Shinji Mikami.
