I refuse to sign up. I'm sick of Capcom toying around with their fans' emotions in this way and won't set myself up for disappointment again.

Right. They've been extremely weird about this entire process. This started out as a cute way to have a little community involvement in the development process, and quickly escalated into a fiasco, with Capcom essentially holding the game hostage.
I'm not interested in playing mind games with them.
If they don't want to release the game, they're well within their rights not to do so. But I'm not going to sit here and let them bait me.

Me neither. Who cares. There are already so many great games I haven't played and will never get to that one more doesn't make a difference. IF it turns out to be good, too.

While I'm mad at Capcom for the whole thing (it's retarded to go herp derp only these people are gonna buy the game) I still very much want this to see release, and that's what it all comes down to. I won't completely forgive them but it'd be a good start.
Servbot #009726. Besides polls I didn't contribute in any way, and I'll keep it that way.

They've already firmly established that they don't want my business.

Signed, though really I'm not getting my hopes up.
(I'm still buying their games used or renting them until this is released.)

Capcom only hurts you because he loves you.
This is lame. It's obvious they just don't want to make this game, because they keep coming up with bullshit criteria. Can't wait until this fails and they decide that if the fans REALLY want MML3 they will fly to Capcom headquarters in Japan and show their support.

No, fuck Capcom. They let the game die in the water and it was really obvious from the way they approached it initially and the sheer degree of contempt they have for the fans of the game made me realize that even if they did finish it, even if some Op Rainfall campaign did get the game released, it would be a half-aseed, mediocre piece of shit. Agreed. We all saw how swimmingly Operation Light Drizzle went toward changing the mind of a monolithic Japanese company. This will just make those bastards laugh. And even if things "start up" again, they'll just ask for the fillings out of our fucking teeth. As Ike said as well, the heart and soul behind the mml series slapping of got fired by crapcom, so anything that would manage to get published would be in essence glorified fanfiction. Yeah, it's a pessimistic way to look at things, but it's also a sure way to avoid disappointment.

Mega Man Legends 3 Programming Director Encourages FansWriting at Twitter today, the game's programming director Yoshiyuki Fujikawa said that he's personally interested in seeing how things turn out. While saying that he's not in a position to wish petitioners good luck, he said that he will offer a feeling of support. He also appears to have a positive outlook on the chances of the petition getting notice, saying that perhaps the message will get through if fans show a lot of interest. www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/07/28/legends_3_programmer/

It's going to be so glorious when Capcom reveals that they give no fuck. They won't make it that easy on us, though. They'll probably announce that the Mega Man Legends franchise hasn't been forgotten/discontinued and right after that announce a line of Nissin noodle cups in a MML design or something.
