FU Capcom. Megaman Legends 3 is dead.

Here's the OFFICIAL problem:

Capcom looked at the Number of members registered in the MML3 devroom as the official number of units they could anticipate to sell if they green-lighted the title for Full Development. The game was never authorized for full time Development because the numbers in North America were less than 4500. Which with development costs it was deemed Financially Unacceptable to release the title.

HOWEVER, The Dev Team convinced them to Leave the North American Development room on Capcom-Unity open in an effort to try and generate enough members to change their minds. Also inside the Dev Room is the Official Petition to Release the Prototype of the game and Continue Development of the game on a FULL SCALE.

In order to do this however we need your help to spread the word out to your 25,000+ people to do 2 things.

Come on show them that you care and want them to make MML3. Become a Serve Bot! DON'T JUST CLICK LIKE ON FACEBOOK!

1) Click this Link www.capcom-unity.com/go/devroom/about

2) Click Register

3) Click Facebook

......4) Fill out birth date

5) Click Accept

6) Click the Green Plus Mark that will add you to the Devroom

7) Then the Box above it "Become a Servbot"

The numbers here Were why It was originally canceled.

I'm servbot #004126. Hopefully this can actually do something about the situation, and unless the word is spread viral, I doubt they will be able to pull enough numbers in. Even with so much support, it didn't convince Capcom that they would be able to break even on an international release. It's been some pretty bad PR for them, but hopefully fans can get their voices heard in a mature and respectful manner.

They let the game die in the water and it was really obvious from the way they approached it initially and the sheer degree of contempt they have for the fans of the game made me realize that even if they did finish it, even if some Op Rainfall campaign did get the game released, it would be a half-aseed, mediocre piece of shit.

What's Megaman Legeds 3?

I'm number 6000-something. I only signed it because I would like the game to be released. If this actually does some good, I'll be glad, but at the same time disturbed that it took such an insane amount of effort and extra convincing to get the game onto shelves (or even get a prototype demo released).

So Capcom in their idiocy only realise Megaman Legends 3 has a consumer base after they can it and the fans go crazy. I think they should start by firing the people responsible for canning the game first. I heard of WAHP that Capcom are very proud that at the moment none of their executives that green light projects know anything about games.

This. What the hell is Capcom's trepidation with this whole project? Throughout the years they've greenlighted so much random garbage, and now even though they're one of the few Japanese companies that's actually been doing pretty well this generation, they refuse to take a solid chance on a project like this without these media 2.0 promises? It's so incredibly bizarre, I bet there's all kinds of political happenings behind the scenes regarding this project for it to be as screwed up as it is.

Also I dunno if it's with my browser settings in Chrome, but the "Become a Servbot" button didn't even show up. I had to open up Mozilla and then it all worked fine.

I'm not even all that big of a Mega Man fan, and I endorse this sentiment. It's like they're honestly trying to outdo themselves in terms of sheer insanity every day.
