I don't know about Twin Peaks. When it used to come on, I'd watch reruns of In The Heat of The Night on TV. Personally, I think it's one of, if not the, best and most realistic crime dramas ever made. When I see Law and Order come on every once in a while (and not very often at that), I facepalm and think to myself that the detectives and prosecutors are far worse than the actual criminals themselves. Also, a lot of the cases are obviously stolen from real-life events, but with names changed.

Also you guys may hate this but I got about halfway through Twin Peaks Season 2 and got burnt out. I guess knowing that Lynch chucked a hissy fit with the ending of the series when it got cancelled has made me a little trepidatious about finishing it but I'll get to it. Then you missed out on, honestly, the best episode of the series; the last episode. You remember how fucked up the very first episode was? Well, the last episode explains it and is a continuation of it.

Dooz: Agreed.
I also agree that Oz should have been more popular than it was...I never got the appeal of The Sopranos, as hard as I tried...Oz on the other hand was love at first sight. It's just so fun! Even the stuff the fans complain about (the Chinese refugees storyline, the "sci fi" stuff like Said getting posessed) was amusing.

My family and I are continuing our never ending Arrested Development loop. We just finished the series again and started over from the beginning - I've totally lost track how many times we've done this. Just about every night, we watch three or four episodes in a row. The show hasn't got old yet, and I'm still finding things that I never noticed before. Pretty cool. I think it's safe to say that AD is my all-time favourite show, maybe tied with the golden years of The Simpsons.

Hoo boy, finding things in common with you all is going to be much, much harder than I thought...
My weekday afternoon TV schedule is as follows: 4:00 p.m. - an hour of King of the Hill reruns 5:00 p.m. - a Simpsons rerun 5:30 p.m. - change channel to see whatever is left of Steve Wilkos 6:00 p.m. - Two and a Half Men rerun 6:30 p.m. - World News with Diane Sawyer

I literally have no choice. I don't have a job, my dad is way too stingy to get cable or satellite and tells me if I want to watch something to just download it (which is too cheap and too much a pain in the ass to bother with), and the nearest mall is a half hour drive from my house.
How do I maintain my (in)sanity? Internet and game addiction. Sorry if things are getting too REAL for some of you, but it's the truth.
I forgot to mention on Sunday nights, I watch Animation Domination on FOX, but if it's a reruns of a McFarlane cartoon, there's an 80% chance I'll just turn off the damn TV.

Dude, don't get so defensive. She's just kidding with you. Can you watch Hulu? There's plenty of good stuff to watch on that, and you'll end up watching commercials on TV anyway.

I guess, though I already have DVD seasons of Beavis and Butthead and Wonder Showzen. Thing is that I don't have a lot of friends that come over so I get bored after watching them over and over. I'm following Zatch Bell on YT and I can't believe how many mistranslations they made.

Judge Judy and Maury on You Tube. What else does a man need?

I fucking hate Judge Judy, but I used to love Maury back when he had the freak shows. Now, it's just paternity tests and makeovers. Big deal that you found the baby-daddy--I wanna see dumb ghetto sluts, obese babies, and mutants!

It's a fun show. I started watching Tiger and Bunny but got sidetracked. It's pretty entertaining although it's kind of a fluff piece. The "Zoids"esque CG/Cel mix is kind of rough to watch sometimes though. I've been watching Excel Saga's dub on Netflix. I skipped the dub back in the day because of weeabooism but thankfully I've gotten over it.

There are no sweeter words on this earth than "You are NOT the father."

Twin Peaks is a sublime sort of show that can go back and forth between being incredibly creepy and unsettling and horribly kitsch in a matter of minutes.
