I'm not sure if the "movies" thread is an ideal place to talk about TV shows, so I made a separate thread instead to discuss what shows you're currently watching. It doesn't necessarily have to be about shows that are currently airing on TV, it can be stuff you saw on DVD, or downloaded from the internet or whatever.
My current addiction is Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the current season of Toei's Super Sentai franchise. I don't really care much for Power Rangers, not even the current Samurai season (even though I do have a bit of nostalgia for the Zordon-era seasons), but I've been into Sentai for the past few years, seeing all seasons from the 80s and early 90s. This season, they're space pirates who turn into past Sentai rangers.

I've been putting some time into watching all of Psych. It's basically everything I want out of a mystery show - it doesn't force-feed you the meanings of the clues, the mysteries have interesting twists to them, and above all else, it's funny as hell.

Been watching the Claymore anime in a prep to get me excited for re-reading and catching up on the couple of years I've missed of the manga. It's a really excellent adaptation, but I already hear things about the ending that I know are going to make me outrage. I've also noticed the addition of a musical score and the need to cram everything into an "episode" format really subtracts a lot from the plot, though that's not the adaptation's fault, but rather the medium's.

Louie is a great show by the comic Louis C.K on FX. It's got a very cynical, awkward, dark sense of humor, but that is often balanced out through the love of his kids. It's hilarious. vod.fxnetworks.com/watch/louieJon Benjamin Has a Van is an extremely hilarious, absurd, show on Comedy Central. It's hard to describe. It's not really about anything. Really the only constant is that Jon Benjamin is driving a van with his camera crew, and random things happen per episode. www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=389568&title=cash-stall

Since I don't have cable or satellite, mostly just the news and Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. I wish all late-night talk show hosts were like him.

I started watching Twin Peaks. Took me long enough. I'm up to the funeral episode. This show is so strange. Odd. Trancelike. The environment looks beautiful but mysterious. The townfolk all so secretive. The music is peculiar. I need to watch more. Also, that little person.

Twin Peaks is a series that I didn't like up until like halfway through the season and then I was hooked. And yes, the little guy rules. Also, the ending is probably my favorite out of any show ever.

I came into Twin Peaks after having been a fan of Silent Hill for years, and right before playing Deadly Premonition. It felt like heaven.

Twin Peaks is amazing. "The Norwegians are coming!!! *DIIIING*"
...but anything David Lynch is involved in is total gold in my eyes.
Finally got around to watching Game of Thrones after all the hype. And all the hype is deserved. I've watched season one twice over now. Amazing series, and probably the best cast TV program in a long while. Still watching True Blood - total guilty pleasure full of hot people and violence... love it.
Recently finished watching all of Battlestar Galactica, The X Files and Will and Grace over again. I'd have to rank those as my top 3 TV programs of all-time.
I'm looking for something new to sink my teeth into though...
Eagerly awaiting The Walking Dead season two.

Has anyone been watching Boardwalk Empire? I only saw the first episode and liked it but despite critical acclaim I dont think it is doing very well because no-one talks about it and it had a really huge budget, so I fear it may be cancelled. I want to watch it on dvd someday.
I've got catching up to do on Breaking Bad, Madmen.
As for David Lynch, I never saw his tv shows Hotel room and On The Air.

I've been watching "The Hard Times of R.J. Berger" on netflix. It's trashy but for some reason it's kind of entertaining. Some of the animated sequences are pretty amusing.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gmisZlnyRM...this is a 16 minute handbag advert by David Lynch, feeling a lot like Inland Empire. I think it is okay/decent, good music but I'm not sure how emotionally invested he really was in this. His Gucci advert was nice. I find it interesting that he does these things, including his PS2 adverts, I'm sure a lot of his fans dont like it. I have mixed feelings about it. Akumajo Belmont- I'd like to recommend OZ more than anything, I think it desrved the place that Sopranos was given. A lot of people think the current tv shows were the first to do everything, but OZ broken a lot of ground and it should never be dismissed as merely sensationalist. It is possibly the most I've ever cared about fictional characters, the show is Bloated with great characters. My sister met one of the main characters (Eamonn Walker/Kareem Said) a year ago and she turned into fangirl jelly in front of him and got a photo with him although he must not have been recognised much by everyone else. Next to Breaking Bad it is the most edge-of-your-seat tv there is. It shares with Game Of Thrones the feeling that anything can and will happen. Madmen, Breaking Bad and Deadwood I recommend unreservedly. I've seen the first season of Treme and although it did not blow me away, it was very good and the show feels like is building up into something impressive. Shows I have had a small sampling of but trust the hype around them: The Wire, Generation Kill, Hill Street Blues( one of the original shows of this type), In Treatment and Boardwalk Empire. I had originally dismissed The Shield as just another dumb cop/crime drama but when I actually watched it, I was extremely impressed, another edge-of-your-seat drama but perhaps not as serious or artistic as the other shows, which is not to say it is any less worth watching. Very exciting, very funny and some great acting in it. A lot more morally complex than most cop shows.

Oz was amazing. You really had no way to anticipate what would happen from week to week.

It's right up there for me... truly some of the greatest characters in a TV show. Eamonn Walker was indeed one of my faves on the show... Kareem Said was just the ultimate cool guy. Well, in the prison setting anyhoo haha.

As I mentioned in the Movie thread I have been watching Star Trek.
TOS - Finished barring movie #5 & 6 TAS - Not even attempted...M'ress is kind of sexy in a poorly drawn and animated way TNG - Finished barring the movies DS9 - Finished VOY - Up to Season 3 ENT - Haven't reached it yet, pre-emptively offended
Also you guys may hate this but I got about halfway through Twin Peaks Season 2 and got burnt out. I guess knowing that Lynch chucked a hissy fit with the ending of the series when it got cancelled has made me a little trepidatious about finishing it but I'll get to it.
