Wii60 sounds cool? Not really The Wii will be a great console, but the 360? come on this is going to be crap just like the original X-box. For now it has only one good game (Dead Rising) and I don't see too much good games in the future.
The PS3 on the other hand, with all the high price and the stupid things Sony may say, still has some rocking games: DMC4, new Gradius, Suikoden 6, Makai Wars, new Shin Megami Tensei, Virtua Fighter 5, Lair and more. The 360 doesn't even come close to this, and it has a year advantage.

I can think of several games that, together, make an XBox well worth the money. Don't let your personal opinion affect the library in general (i.e., I know people that hate rail shooters but still have the taste to acknowledge that Panzer Dragoon Orta is an incredible game).
I'm very happy with my 360 as well thanks to the Live Arcade features and the system architecture allowing for PC ports/etc. to happen without the game being crippled like on the original XBox. Wii was always going to be my primary system for this generation though.

For now it has only one good game (Dead Rising) Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, Geometry Wars and Oblivion would like to share some words with you. So do Mass Effect and Gears of War, for that matter. Which, hilariously, may see release on the 360, in light on the success of Dead Rising. new Gradius, Suikoden 6, Makai Wars, new Shin Megami Tensei None of these are confirmed, although most are likely at some point. My point is, all the PS3 really has going for it, games-wise, is more sequels from Japanese companies to established properties. Which may end up on the 360 anyway, depending on how the PS3 performs.

The thing is though, Oblivion is a far better PC experience then it is on the 360

I can play GRAW or Oblivion on my PC (not that I want, but let's ignore that for a second) , why would I buy 360 for them? Let's talk exclusive titels. Emmmm Geometry Wars, I may be wrong, but isn't it a new version for an old game? Mass Effect and Gears of War... Those are PC style games, that almost for sure will get release on the PC. Why buy a console for PC games? Yeah I heard the rumors that DMC4 may see release on the 360, but on the same note I heard rumors that Lost Planet will see release on the PS3. So we will just have to wait and see. And I don't think most PS3 japanese games will land on the 360 too, the thing is total failure in japan. Well anyway my primary console for the next generation is Wii (unlike this generation which my primary console was the PS2).

I can play GRAW or Oblivion on my PC I can't. Hence, why I dig the 360.

So do Mass Effect and Gears of War, for that matter. Lost Planet? Edit: I forgot that it's basically confirmed that both Resident Evil 5 and Assassin's Creed are both coming to the 360 as well. Oh, and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Then for classic arcade fans, revamped versions of the arcade Contra game. The list goes on and on... Anyway, you've got to be kidding if you think that Sony's PR blunders were "marketing." It's never an effective strategy to admit you're relying on brand strength (for one), and in today's networked age there's no excuse for not knowing that those offhand remarks would spread like wildfire. Okay, maybe there IS, but aren't these folks supposed to be "marketing geniuses?" If nothing else, it's quite clear that these folks have no control over what's going on and are constantly having to make excuses for what's going on with PS3 R&D. I wouldn't be surprised to hear someday that the development groups at Sony hate the guts of their inept marketing crew. If I were Sir Howard Stringer, I'd tell Kaz, Rees, and a couple other people to be more careful with their remarks. It's not a problem with honesty; hell, they've been too honest at times (for example, the "people will buy it even without games" comment, which while true should've been left unsaid). Of course much of the negative news towards Sony isn't in their hands; the startling yield and potential burnout issues with the Cell processors are a sign that they're making some cutting-edge hardware and are working right at the edge of the tolerances of today's hardware design. I think the real problem for Sony is that they're still pursuing the dream of an all-in-one box (as promoted by a previous - doomed, as it turned out - top Sony exec, Mickey Schulhof). At the prices it's costing them, and considering that many gamers aren't looking to buy an all-in-one combo (especially since Blu-Ray isn't really worth getting right now; ironically Sony's own first-gen BD movie transfers are considered the worst of the lot), their price/performance expectations are all out of whack. With the 360, you have a choice: buy the HD-DVD player if you want, or don't and save a bundle. And on top of that, there's potential signs that Sony has slightly compromised the system's design as a game machine in favor of multimedia capabilities: half the RAM in the machine won't be directly accessible by the video processor, the obnoxious Cell CPU design, and again the (expensive) saddling of the consumer with potentially unwanted multimedia features (oh, and that processor offloading system where you process content for somebody else's PS3 while hooked up to the internet...yeah, that sounds awesome. Not). Games make the platform, but I'd rather have two games and a console than a console and no games.

Lost Planet is a very polished and very pretty third person action game wherein one combats insect-like aliens that consume massive amounts of heat, to the point where planets they take over become frozen wastelands. You are a space marine/mercenary/whatever that has a suit that can absorb heat from these things as you destroy them to keep from freezing to death as you navigate the massive planet. Controls sort of like Resident Evil 4 except you can shoot behind you (which logical looking strafing/backpedalling animations instead of the silly sliding around everywhere stuff you end up with in most games of this kind) and you also have a grappling hook that you can use to access higher areas and also quickly pull yourself out of trouble. It's not a mech game, but there are many robotic armor type vehicles you can use that have heavy weaponry on them. Or you can rip off said heavy weaponry and carry it around at the expense of your maximum movement speed. Sports extremely fluid graphics even when tons of enemies are on the screen at once. I'm very impressed with what I've played so far (and this is all based on the E3 demo, it's downloadable for free off the XBox Live Marketplace). The game itself is supposed to ship in January. Published by Capcom so eventual porting to other systems seems assured like with Ubisoft (Next week I'll probably be able to pre-order Assassin's Creed for the Virtual Boy).

That wasn't a question I was wondering what Kurt's opinion of the game was, in case he had left it from that list on purpose. But anyway, yeah, that's a good description of the game (and makes me wish I had a 360, but then I start playing some Toaplan shooter and forget all about it).

So still the only good and exclusive game for the 360 right now is Dead Rising And still I don't understand why people buy a console to play PC games? upgrading your PC is way cheaper than buying a 360 (and you get the XBLA for free! No need to pay for roms of Contra and Gauntlet).
