Looks like I forgot one obvious rip of Boris Vallejo  in the Golden Axe box art ( back cover).
It simply rips all three characters from Boris art: the barbarian is ripped from a Boris painting depicting Conan, and the dwarf is ripped from "the broken sword" also by the same artist

Something worth noting: Dino Rex is from '92 , Golden Axe (jap art) from '89. So doing the math, Golden Axe copied 4 Boris paintings first, then Dino Rex copied the female warrior then modified from Golden Axe but still taking inspiration from the original Boris art.

Hi Everyone,

I was searching through a library of old Kung Fu movies that my friend had and something stood out to me as a pose I had seen before in other game titles. The pose was from the 1983 film, "The Enchantress" by the Shaw Brothers.

The character portraits in One Must Fall 2097 were traced from various anime series. Crystal Devroe is designed after one of the main villains of GoShogun, Redinard Medich Bundle. Steffan Tommas is designed after the main protagonist of GoShogun, Shingo Hojo. And Cossette Akira is designed after the main protagonist of Votoms, Chirico Cuvie.

It would be intresting to see what other characters you can find.

Hmm, looking at the few results Google image search gives me for the GoShogun characters, the resemblance is definitely there, but seems more like an "inspired by" deal. Might change my mind if anyone finds images with the exact same facial expressions and angles. Not seeing the third one, though...
