Universal's "Magical Spot" (1980) art heavily borrows from Esteban Maroto's art for Creepy (#105 1979) as shown above, but how about the INSECT fiend in Galaga'88 ( 1988, Namco ) maybe being inspired by the iconic cover art by Neal Adams for Savage Tales #4 ( 1974 Marvel Comics) ?
not traced, "inspired".... what's your opinion?

It's not mentioned in the game's review here on HG101, but the horrible Cyberdillo references the painting "La Mort de Marat" by Jacques-Louis David in its game over screen. Why? Who knows.

Hi, Regarding "Murder on the Atlantic" : linkConsidering this game is French and was released in 1986, I think this one (Laurent Fabius): is probably this man: who was prime minister in France in the beginning of the 80's. And this one: is probably this man (Jack Lang): was also was a French minister during the same era.

'Kid Niki - Radical Ninja' (1986) US cover art :
...borrows heavily from Frank Frazetta's "Egyptian Queen" (1969) on the left and Boris Vallejo's "In the Underworld" (1978) on the right : details: ..pretty sure the executioner and the troll have been lifted and or traced as well

Ran into this AI art approximation of Timothee Chalamet used for a Switch shovelware Mahjong title.
