I know John Buscema has come up a bunch of times in this thread, but this floating head drawing from "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" showed up everywhere. It became the logo for the metal band Kreator. and Starpath's Escape from the Mindmaster for Atari 2600 plus supercharger and also Flash Gordon/Captain Zzap for Commodore 64

Flash Gordon is also a trace. I can't find the original, but I'm pretty sure it's a Spider-Man trace.

Yeah, we had that before. I don't think it's in the article online yet, but it's in the 10-page WIP version I can never seem to finish...

Hello, I found this imagine on another site a while ago: Now I'm not sure if this is cover art for one of the Warhammer 40k videogames or taken from a sourcebook for the tabletop game but the space marine on the far right looks a lot like Tony Montana from Scarface near the end of the movie: Would be nice anybody could confirm that this is an actual videogame cover or just randomly picked from the sourcebooks, thanks!

Dogs of War is Arnold from Predator. Gladiators looks like a Frazetta trace. The other two look like Arnold in his bodybuilding days, but could be a trace of any bodybuilder.

Gladiators is a Savage Sword of Conan cover (#24) by Earl Norem.

So here's an odd one... First, the cover to Ubisoft's Jimmy Connors Pro Tennis, featuring a photo of the actual Connors (the back of the box notes it was licensed from another company) And now, the European cover for Telenet's GrandSlam: The Tennis Tournament (released in the US as Jennifer Capriati Tennis) (note the guy at the bottom) It's pretty clearly based off of that photo, although they did take a few liberties, but not too many. It's only the Euro version that has this; the original Japanese version has an entirely different illustration, and the US version has a picture of Capriati instead. ...also, I just noticed how the woman on Quarterstaff's Japanese cover seems to be a mixture of two different illustrations: her upper body's based on the archer that's also on Colorado's cover, but her lower body is a near exact trace of the one that appears on Legend of the Amazon Women.

What a surprise, two more Boris Vallejo rip offs: and this one is a pretty old advertisement for Weider products :

Nice finds Thanks. As for your japanese link, it is a real mine of information for SNK addicts (as well as fans of psikyo's Daraku Tenshi, Atlus' Power Instinct etc. Excellent!
