I could have sworn the site used to have articles on Kick Master for the NES, Xain'd Sleena for the arcade and Return of the Ninja (the GBC sequel to Shadow of the Ninja for the NES)... I can't find either on the site however- am I just not looking in the right places or did I dream this?

No forum thread, no Wayback machine'd main site post, not in the Classic Gaming Review Archive, no files on the server. I think you got them confused.

There was never an official sequel to Shadow of the Ninja actually released, it got bought by Tecmo and turned into Ninja Gaiden Shadow. There's a Ninja Gaiden article and an article on Natsume NES games that cover these.
As for the other two, nope, not at the moment anyway.

It was published by Natsume and has Japanese staff credits, but it looks and feels like a Western-developed game and AFAIK was never released in Japan.

Well, I know how I heard of Xain D-Sleena (played it in a dodgey corner shop when I was 8 or so) but I really have no idea how I heard of Kick Master prior to this. Return of the Ninja- I only heard of it recently- was shocked to hear that Shadow of the Ninja had a sequel! Then dissapointed to find out...it didn't ¬_¬

It happened with me, too: I was pretty sure about a Dynamite Dux article, but I must have been dreaming...

I could have been sure that there was a Timesplitters article on the site. Though I'm pretty certain there was a Bloodstorm/Timekillers/Ninja Clowns article in the works (saw it once on the article thread). Whatever happened to that one?

Those were never officially posted. They are part of the HG101 apocrypha.

I once made a topic about Kick Master with screenshots and stuff, that's where you might have seen it.

Ah ha! That would be it Rey. I knew I could have only heard about it on this site.

Why aren't threads for new articles being created anymore?
That's what we used to say our praises and point out mistakes or additions.
