It's because they know there isn't jack to play on the PS4/XBox One.

Sorry man I'll say it even after Bloodborne is upon us. The Order: 1886 coming out is like minus five games.

Daily reminder that they spent a huge amount from their profits on the development on smartphone games despite the fact they made much less money than computer and console games. Also DMC - Devil May Cry was the least profitable game of the francise, yet they decided to make a Define Version. If it was the least profitable, maybe they're rereleasing it in hopes of recouping costs from its development.

The best is how they added a Mega Man BACKGROUND to UMVC3. Capcom had an extremely profitable 2014 so I'm not sure what this video guy is ranting about with their financial position. Also I like how taking a huge amount of $$$ from Sony to not have to waste time porting SF5 to a system no one's buying like the XBox One is a bad decision. But then Ultra SF4 being ported to more systems is also a bad decision. I'm usually the first to complain about Capcom and the old guard mentality of many of Japan's older publishers but this guy's just blabbering about whatever, blowing off steam, waste of time. Angry Joe is usually fairly coherent so this is kind of surprising. Japan isn't the only country Capcom can make a profit off of. One would imagine that the majority of their Street Fighter profits come from overseas these days.

Street Fighter IV on 3DS sold another 100k this year during the summer. Meanwhile, Capcom never actually followed up on a later edition or another fighter on the platform.

Who on earth would buy such an outdated version of a fighting game? Bizarre.

The fighting game selection on 3DS is pretty slim so I can definitely understand it selling. I'm actually surprised King of Fighters XIII didn't get ported to it from the iOS version at least since it was actually very successful (fighters aren't great on phones but KoFXIII is easily the best one ever by a huge margin). Very silly to not follow up when the only competition is an ancient BlazBlue and the launch Dead or Alive 2 port. If huge bouncing breasts in 3D didn't beat Street Fighter than they could done any SF release they wanted successfully.

Wait, you're saying that Capcom did something that didn't make sense?

I'm not in the habit of playing outdated versions of something just for the sake of having it on the go, but to each their own.

Street Fighter on 3DS, Dead or Alive, Tekken...where's Virtua Fighter? I would love a Virtua Fighter game on the go. Oh wait: Virtua Fighter barely sells on big, home consoles (Virtua Fighter 5 Final barely made it as a digital-only release outside Japan). Still it could be more appreciated on a console with not so much fighting games like 3DS. Add some cool feature that take advance of 3DS feature like making your own character with your Miis (just like Mii Fighters on Super Smash Bros 3DS which was an awesome bonus) and using Amiibo.
