Clock Tower is making a comeback (sort of).

She may not have anything more practical with her. Though I guess she could at least take the heels off and run around barefoot or in stockings, if all else fails.
Have you played any Clock Tower games before? The games are point-and-click -- you click where you want your character to walk, or double-click if you want her to run instead.
I was a little taken aback by the cursor being there at first as well, but then realized, oh... that's not cutscene footage, that's in-game footage. The cursor is there because that's how you play!
Ehh. They look fine enough. I prefer style over photo-realism, and this game definitely has a sense of style to it.
Yeah it's not as if she'd have time to change with a monster after her, and it's doubtful she'd just stumble across some sneakers that fit her feet, but hopefully she does at least ditch her heels once the monster's presence is firmly established.
Totally, I've played CT1 on SNES and CT2 for the PSX, loved 'em. I also played that other CT for the PSX that I can't recall the name of which was pretty cool until I got murdered by possessed scenery and had to hit GameFAQs for the third time to figure out which button I was supposed to mash to avoid being stabbed. The game was spooky and had it's own surprises but the plot wasn't as cohesive as in the original two titles.
I picked up on that those scenes were gameplay but it seemed unprofessional to leave the pointer just floating around there when it's meant to be a teaser, but it's cool in another way because it tells us a lot about how the game will actually play. I'm picturing hiding in a wardrobe where it swaps to a more tense and claustrophobic first-person view, and then getting a short cut to the room's door being opened before swapping back to the PC's perspective (Siren: Blood Curse anyone?), as opposed to the original Clock Tower games where the player was third-person slightly omnipotent.
I can appreciate how consistent it appears to be, and I'm not the kind of person to write any game off because of the way it looks, but her hair is just so bad.. ;-;
