Well, thats useful info, Feynman. The only thing is I realize that witch time is good, I still feel like I want to hit enemies out of attacks. For some reason it's ingrained. Was that possible in DMC? I had a lot of problems with this too. There are more enemies here that take several hits before they're staggered, but you can also go for Wicked Weave attacks which cause a lot more stagger. Those are the attacks that usually involve her summoning part of a demon and are typically combo finishers. These attacks are actually why Dodge Offset is so important because it means you can retain your strongest attacks while dodging at the same time. I didn't even get good at this stuff until after I beat the game on Hard, so yeah it's gonna take some adjustments if you're used to DMC.

klaid make good use of the punch kick punch combo, for most weapons it's a wicked weave, so it's good to have a quick one to know

Link costume was very useful because it offered the blocking ability without using up an accessory slot.
