I've got it. No real intention of playing online, but there's enough to do by myself that I won't be missing out on very much by ignoring the online modes.

Him and Mega Man seem really hard to kill. Mega Man more so. They're both really solid, and recover easily. They remind me of Kirby really. Of course this is actually speaking as playing as them. I haven't fought them very much yet. Pit can still go die in a pit as far as I'm concerned. And whoever thought we needed two of them...

So, how does it control on the 3DS?

So, how does it control on the 3DS? Fine, but it's my absolute least favorite part of the game. The damn pad is slippery, and it makes smash attacks a crap shoot for me. I finally understand what fighting game pros are talking about when they like certain sticks over others. It works just fine, but it personally bugs the hell out of me.

I've been seeing a lot of hilariously broken 3DS sliders online. Was this a problem when Mario Kart 7 came out? Peoples seem to be blaming the Smash controls. I'll believe it when it happens to me.
Just been focusing on unlocking stuff in solo. Unlocked Lucina last night. Yah for Fire Emblem! She was tough to beat though. Defensive playing seems better in this version.

Maybe don't jam the shit out of your control pad in a fit of nerdrage and it won't break
One of Ness' alternate costumes appears to be a Master Belch tee

They actually seem to at least have one alternate costume each. But that's really only confirmed for a couple of characters. Like Shulk has a swimsuit. Link gets his Fierce Deity appearance. Olimar, gets one of the Pikmin 3 people.

Okay, so i took a look, and only certain characters get radically different costumes. But, that said, I now have everyone, and I actually really like Bowser Jr.. He's a lot of fun to play as.

I actually find myself preferring a lot of the new characters over the returning ones. Pac-Man in particular is great fun, if only because of the hilarity potential of KO'ing someone by dropping a fire hydrant on them.
That said...Mii Fighter is the best addition to the series by far, because it allows me to finally realize my dream of playing as Jackie Chan in a Smash game.
