I hope this character ends up as well balanced and great fighter. So for the NA-region she'd shave her head and wears a muscle suit? Genius. I believe Killer Instinct has already beat them to the punch on that one. I thought that one came with a (small) main cast? I think it was just 1 or 2 characters to choose from when downloading then a set price for each character beyond that. Same idea though.

I actually happen to think Lucky Chloe is worse than farting dinosaurs because she's just pandering. Have you ever played a Tekken game before? Because you've described almost every single female character the series has ever had besides Jun and ...uh...

To be honest though, I think most of the people complaining about the people complaining are only doing so because it's a female character being criticized on the internet. Then again, they could just hate complaining. ...still trying to get my mind around this sentence. Hmm. Yawn, another controversy. I think she looks neat, in the usual crazy Japanese way.

Next game the complete rooster is locked DLC. You simply buy the characters you like and ignore the rest. There, problem solved. The real important question this post raises is: Why isn't there a playable rooster in Tekken?

It was an obvious joke from Harada and the usual suspects are trying to make into a controversy of what was a banal criticism (seriously, i skimmed through the neogaf thread, it's mostly "lol silly japan").

And that's why you can never take neogaf's threads seriously except from video games developments' backstage you won't hear in big video games sites.

I like that Tekken, aside from generally playing faster and is less grounded in reality than Virtua Fighter, distinguishes itself with all these goofy otherworldly characters; I will admit that I haven't really dug much of the characters introduced from Tekken 6 onward though. Still, kind of a silly thing to get worked up over...

Controversy? Oh for the love of... I vote we burn all people that identify themselves as "gamers" and come up with a new word. I vote for "satanists." I'm going for Klaidlings. Also derboo, I think a rooster would be amazing. Really just get rid of everyone and have a cast of animals. I mean I usually just play as Kuma anyway.

I actually happen to think Lucky Chloe is worse than farting dinosaurs because she's just pandering. Tekken has many terrible designs, and she does nothing to lift that burden. Tekken has somewhat of an identity crisis between wanting to be taken extremely serious (anime terms), and pushing a lot of comedy. Lucky's design doesn't pander toward the epic martial art appeal, and unless she is indeed a work of satire, she can only bring the pop idol worship trope to the table. I could be entirely wrong about her character because of how little we've been exposed to thus far, but I'm fairly confident because "Tekken." To be honest though, I think most of the people complaining about the people complaining are only doing so because it's a female character being criticized on the internet. Then again, they could just hate complaining. Kind of seems like a blatant ripoff of DoA 5 Ultimate's Marie Rose, with the crappy fetish outfit and all.

Because most of those women, while pandering, also tend to have character designs rooted in one traditional martial art or another. For example, most of the time I can take Asuka seriously. Did you even read the rest of my post..?

I think it was just 1 or 2 characters to choose from when downloading then a set price for each character beyond that. Same idea though. DOA5 Ultimate: Core Fighters also does that; the game comes with four characters (Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane and some other one I can't recall), and from there you can buy whatever other character(s) you like, although taking a page from some other F2P games, certain characters are free for a month (right now it's Bayman and Christie). Hell, I'm pretty sure Tekken Revolution is already that.
