I've had a hankering for a simple Dungeon Master type of game for the phone. You know, simple first person dungeon crawling with slight emphasis on touch controls. Unfortunately, searching through the Play Store for this is a hassle. It gives me top-down roguelikes instead. Anybody aware of something at least vaguely similar to what I'm looking for? It would be much appreciated. Not sure how well it plays, but there's an app version of Legend of Grimrock.

Games on my phone right now are Vector and Pixel Dungeon. The mod "Shattered" Pixel Dungeon is highly recommended.

I don't know if that's good or bad, but when I think about it, my "best action game of 2015" has to be Halo Spartan Strike/Spartan Assault (hard to choose between those two, even though assault IS better eventually.) They are what premium games must be: 5 bucks each, no other money asked, big and well thought out campaigns, beautiful audio-visuals, they really are the whole package. The replay value is high, too. I got a runner-up, too, which was relly almost as good, but before that...
Big budget, developed by 343 Industries themselves... not too shabby.
What is YOUR best mobile game in 2015? Choose wisely, for there are people who may use this thread when buying mobile games, so try to give a short explanation.

I often forget to say that my IPad is a great MAME machine. The touch controls are what they are, but still! I love playing Battle Circuit for five minutes here, and five minutes there...

Just tried to play Sonic 4 on my Android 5.1 device. It doesn't even launch and there is no indication Sega is going to fix it.
Great. I've learned a valuable lesson. Never buy Sega games again.

Adventure Capitalist is having another event soon. I hope it's better than the New Years one, I broke that one apart. The gimmick where the fast investments hurt your big ones was cool, but not expanded upon enough.
Also getting back into Another Case Solved (I had to restart when I changed phones). Forgot how addictive this is.

I don't know how it happened, but gatcha games have somehow sunk their claws into me. They've been my go-to type of game when I'm too tired to play anything overly complicated. Just lots of Age of Ishtaria, Chain Chronicle, and FF Record Keeper. =S

Yeah, that happened to me the other day. After getting burned paying cash for drops in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, I swore I'd never spend money on a gacha game again. Then Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle had a guaranteed SSR (Super Super Rare) character pull...so I decided to drop some cash and give it a go (It was a one time only, normally only the next lowest quality, SR, is guaranteed. Currently SSR is the highest rank of card you can get). There was a chance I'd get a dupe of an SSR I already had, but I was lucky and got a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku card, which is a really good card (Helped me heaps during the recent Broly event). I still play FFRK, but no way am I ever spending cash on it again. I've always find it weird how even when you spend money on a game, they're not willing to let go of the random gacha crap (and most of this stuff is WAAAYYYY more expensive than an actual Gacha toy machine!). I guess it's because the gams that live always manage to attract a bunch of whales to keep them afloat

Still, they're surprisingly good at killing time. All the shinies sparkling on the screen with happy sounds and how I got a thing tap into the pleasure centers of my brain far more than I'd care to admit. =p

Some smartphones games I tried recently: - Recently I installed Dragon Quest Monster Super Light on my phone and started playing it. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.garena.game.dqmslFor a smartphone F2P rpg based on an old franchise it's surprisingly nice and faithful to the spirit of the series. I have only two complains: 1) It's region locked for some countries, therefore you will probably have to download the apk instead of downloading it from Google Play. 2) The english version is published from another company instead of SquareEnix and seeing that this game isn't very popular, I'm afraid that soon or later it's going to close. Just like happened with other nice but not so profitable F2P games like Pac Man Monsters (seriously, it needs a premium adaption for 3DS, it was an awesome game) and Chain Chronicles (which I stopped playing after a while but I liked it and had much better production value comparing to most F2P rpg garbage). - Tap My Katamari is one of these games I uninstalled after a few seconds. That's how awful it is. Even for a clicker game (you know, game a la Cookie Clicker) it's totally pointless. Read this review for more details: www.ibtimes.co.uk/tap-my-katamari-review-well-that-was-pointless-1536852And yeah, its score is totally fair (1/10).
