Also, you forgot my home state, Georgia? I didn't forget it but I unfortunately placed it where Alabama is! All I really know about Georgia is Atlanta, but I seemed to have confused its location. I realize I suck at geography. I can't say I'm that good at european geography either, at least not eastern Europe, and the Balkan countries. Ask me where Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Albania is and I'll probably mix em all up. Though I know the general location of those I can't be 100% sure which one is which... Embarrasing, I know

Has anyone mentioned Civil War games? I'm honestly not too familiar with that realistic strategy game genre, but it seems like they would take place in quite a few states.

Well there is Civil War General and it's sequel. Which I know take place in Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. But those are just the battles off the top of my head I know that were in those games. Not like you could actually tell mind you. Every map is pretty similar looking. Although I'd be surprised if Georgia wasn't on that list. I just cannot think of a famous battle that took place there. Beyond the burning of Atlanta.

Well, Georgia is covered if you use the golf games. Augusta has a pretty popular course.

Shiloh: Grant's Trial in the West is one Civil War game that takes place in Tennessee. I actually own a sealed copy of it so I remembered it

Don't forget that one really old Revolutionary War mod for Half-Life! (Although I forget where it's exactly supposed to take place.)

Oh wow, there's a developer from Alabama and they create a game making fun of Mississippi...

Road Rash II's races take place in five states: Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Tennessee, and Vermont.

Embarrasing, I know Just don't confuse them when talking to anybody from there because confusing one Slav for another is like the highest insult possible. Macedonia is pretty easy, though. All you have to do is remember their eternal conflict with Greece over the use of the name "Macedonia" to remember that they're directly above Greece. But just the fact that you can name all those countries makes you far more knowledgeable about Eastern European geography than the vast majority of Americans. Most Americans still see Eastern Europe as if it's all the USSR. :/ When my mother tells people that she's Latvian, she gets "What? You don't look like you're Latin."

Better than me asking what Dr. Doom is like in real life.

Well, thank God for the Eurovision Song Contest (said noone, ever). The music is mostly horrible but at least I get a yearly reminder that I have a lot of neighbors I don't know anything about. But I seriously don't even know the neighbours in my own apartment building so how the hell am I supposed to keep track of other countries?
