Tony Hawk's Underground 2 also has a New Orleans level, complete with a Mardi Gras celebration and weird voodoo stuff.

Was Shadowman partially set in Louisiana, or am I just assuming that since Voodoo was involved? I haven't played it in 15 years.

Haha, it's kind of funny to think that the game would basically portray an apocalypse of sorts happening there, one year before Hurricane Katrina happened.

The Nuketown series of maps from the Call of Duty series (or at least the first two and Nuketown Zombies---no idea if the one in BLOPS 3 is going to be set in the same place) are set somewhere in Nevada.

Trauma Team takes place mostly in Portland, Maine; although the game's general understanding of US geography is pretty strained. Towards the end of the game, a round trip helicopter flight to Mexico is depicted as a day trip which is completely impossible.

And yes, I realize this thread is... a little America-centric. Unfortunately, finding games that take place across, say, every province of Canada might prove to be even more difficult. Still, if anybody wants to try, go for it! I'll give it a shot but Canada isn't well represented despite the massive amount of game development here - British Columbia - Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and Vancouver 2010 are the only primarily set ones I can think of until The Long Dark gets released. BC gets partial roles in stuff like Mass Effect 3, Deadlight, and various sports games. And Retro City Rampage is sort of a bizarro Vancouver. Alberta - Until Dawn and Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek. For partially set, there's Edmonton in MDK2 and sports games and Banff in Sally's Spa. Saskatchewan - Super Basic Human Needs (Regina). Some freeware game it seems. Manitoba - Can't think of a fully set one, just Winnipeg for sports stuff. Ontario - Scott Pilgrim (Toronto). See sports for partially set ones and Toronto briefly shown getting nuked in Far Cry: Blood Dragon. There's probably a major one I'm missing. Quebec - A handful of partial roles for Montreal (Deus Ex: HR, Assassin's Creed IV, Rampage, Carmen Sandiego, sports games) and Quebec City in Project Gotham Racing 4. Montreal will have a primary role in ReRoll. New Brunswick - ? Nova Scotia - Assassin's Creed Rogue (Halifax) - Not sure if this counts as primarily set or not. I haven't played this one. Prince Edward Island - Ultimate Anne of Green Gables Trivia Game on DVD count? Unturned is partially set. Newfoundland - ?

I'm sorry this has taken forever, but I've finally updated the OP to this with Derboo's list he complied. I've also added CarnEvil to the list, since that's said to take place in Greely Valley, Iowa. That's not a real town, though. Trust me, I Googled it.

Up until now we had nothing for Montana... but now we can place something there! The upcoming Far Cry 5 takes place in the fictional "Hope County", though it's explicitly shown to be in Montana
