I think there's a great RPG to be made with Fist of the North Star. I wish the Super Famicom RPG was fan translated, but it does look pretty janky. Actually, there's a great RPG to be made in Dragon Ball's universe, ideally with an original story, but it'd have to be treated like a legit game and not second-rate licensed trash. Should also have been a Sonic RPG around the time Super Mario RPG came out.

Speaking of Dragon Ball, I've said for years that a fighter with that license that played like Marvel Vs. Capcom would rule and...they made it! And it rules! Dreams do come true!

Not sure if you know but there's a recent FotNS game by the Yakuza developer, probably have exactly what you are looking for. If it ever gets localized that is.

I've tried DS Dragon Ball RPG, it seems nice but the encounter rate is really annoying. The Fist of the North Star Yakuza game sounds great, but if it's like Yakuza, it's probably going to take place within 2-3 towns. I'd like to really explore that vast, devastated world and encounter all kinds of new events and characters. But yeah, localizing that new game would already be a start.

- The Simpsons: Hit & Run HD
- A Star Wars Battlefront 3 NOT made by fucking EA
- An ultra-violent Judge Dredd FPS
- A good Akira game that isn't a pinball game
- A good Evangelion game (possibly like Zone of the Enders)
- A good mahou shoujo action game (think God Hand/Bayonetta, but with magical girls instead)
I don’t think there was ever an official Hunger Games game, right? Maybe it would’ve been too grim, with all the killing of teenagers... but it could’ve been a pretty interesting survival horror/RPG/action/strategy hybrid. If done right. With multiplayer and things. Or even better; Battle Royale: The game! It basically already exists. It's called PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

It's still the best Simpsons game by a metric light-year.

That may be, but those bullshit chases and time limits and rubberband AI scarred me for life.
I could go for a proper GTA Springfield though.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run was a fun rental in it's day but I really doubt it's held up well at all. I see potential in a modern open world Simpsons game though. - An ultra-violent Judge Dredd FPS
There was a Judge Dredd FPS by Rebellion, I don't think it's supposed to be very good though.

I've played it. Dredd vs Death is OK, but I was thinking more of a modern FPS based on the Karl Urban reboot, like how Escape from Butcher Bay was for Chronicles of Riddick.

Oh! I think I mentioned this earlier in some other thread, but I'd really love a 16/32 bit arcade brawler based on Berserk in the vein of Golden Axe and such.

Ive wonder did Tecmo-Koei had plans made Sailor Moon Warriors game. Because we never had 3D action game of Sailor Moon Maybe not, while Sailor Moon is still fondly remembered in Japan and across the world, it's not as big or as remembered as, say, Dragon Ball Z, mostly because there never was as much games done about Sailor Moon as there was for that franchise. They did try to bring Sailor Moon back with Sailor Moon Crystal, and while it was somewhat sucessful, it wasn't Dragon Ball Super sucessful. That and other magical shows have stolen quite a bit of it's thunder, you have Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Cardcaptor Sakura, Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Madoka Magica and others. With one of said others being a certain franchise from Toei called Pretty Cure...that is MASSIVE in Japan, Pretty Cure(or Precure) has never been as popular as Sailor Moon in the west with some rare exceptions across some countries, with dubbing attempts(you can find some in Netflix, for example) not getting the fame studios hoped. But Pretty Cure is really really damn popular, like, the newest Sailor Moon Crystal did not sell as much merchandise or got as many ratings as the Pretty Cure seasons that happened while that show was running, hell, despite what some people say about Dragon Ball Super having a Sailor Moon Universe, the character's fighting styles, transformations, lines and general everything resembled Pretty Cure more than Sailor Moon, precisely because Toei thinks that japanese people nowadays will recognize Pretty Cure references and homages more easily than Sailor Moon. There's just no reason to do a Sailor Moon game when Toei can just make a Precure game and get more money from Japan sales, sure, the west still remembers Sailor Moon and it's still the most recognizable magical girl series technically but...there's a reason why it hasn't had many new games or things done with the franchise and developers have focused on other magical girl series. If there's going to be a magical girl warriors game, it's likely going to be either Precure, Nanoha as it's famous and characters are pretty strong or Symphogear as it's a popular franchise that is still ongoing and is going to have it's fifth series soon, and the magical girls in that show are more like walking arsenals than most magical girls, having a wide variety of attacks and fighting styles, with many area affecting attacks, so they are constantly shown fighting and blasting mooks and monsters away. ...Hell i actually think Nanoha and Symphogear are more suited for a Warriors like game due to how their franchises are like, and Precure has a ton of series, characters and villains to choose from, certainly more than Sailor Moon.

From what I've seen Precure also has much more dynamic and 'visceral' fighting scenes than Sailor Moon, where they usually just roll the usual stock footage and pof, enemy defeated. Would make for a better video game adaptation.
(Granted, a lot of Super Robot shows do this too.)
