Now that I think about it, Moomin was a bit creepy sometimes. Although it's an anime, it's based on a series of Finnish books. And word has it that it's a bit toned down compared to the source material. *shudders*

Oddly enough, I always found it hard to sympathize with old cartoon villains myself, as most of them simply attacked the good guys with little provocation, and unlike G.I. Joe and Transformers, they were never really cool enough for me to root for (though I am in the camp that thinks the kids who keep taking that poor rabbit's Trix should die in a fire).
Speaking of Transformers, am I the only one who was creeped out during the scene where Megatron is transformed into Galvatron?

I just watched Felidae and I thought it was awesome. Very bizarre to see a movie with this style of Animation to have such intense gore in sexual scenario's. I don't think we'll see another movie like this again.
SPOILER QUESTION!!
But how exactly is bringing back an older more wild breed of cat supposed to over throw humanity?

The only villain I ever rooted for was Cobra Commander, simply because I always thought Cobra had cooler costumes then GI joe

I've always been rooting for the villains. My favorite 80s cartoon character ever was Starscream. I cried when they killed him in the animated movie.. right when he was finally taking his rightful place as the leader of the Decepticons.
At least he kicked major ass in the live action movie.

I was pleased when The Really Rottens won a round of the Laugh-Olympics.

I feel sorry for COBRA, on the one hand, they have a crap military and plans involving giant snakes. On the other hand, they have this incredible ability to raise large sums of untraceable money and field a small army almost undetected on NATO soil.

I think everybody who's seen the animated version of _Watership Down_ has erased it from their memories. Dead rabbits everywhere, General Woundwort... I remember Watership down being shown when I was at primary School. For some reason, I found it mind numbing boring (or I thought it was/would be) and so I spent the entire time it was being shown ignoring and wishing it was home time. Sounds like I kinda dodged a bullet there.

I'd say Watership Down. It also makes you cry.

Codename: Kids Next Door has a lot of Soilent Green-style stuff. Kids into kids' meals for sharks, eye crust into apple crumble, Rainbow Monkey dolls into Rainbow Munchies...not really scary, just kinda disturbing. I still love that show, though.

I just remembered another one: Dinky Di's. For a show about anthropomorphic animals saving endangered non-anthropomorphic ones, some of the villains looked pretty creepy.
