Thanks guys!
I'm hoping you get to fight Araki (or him as Rohan) as the final boss.

That'd be epic. Just don't let him write "Cannot attack Hirohiko Araki" on you.

You have to trick him to come out of the closet and then you win and he wins too, since he gets to stop living a lie. BTW, I'm not homophobic, I just talk that way (re: the Revengeance thread also ).

Anyone getting this game? I'm going to have to wait a bit so I can consolidate packages.
Looks like people are pissed off about the day one DLC (and the perfect Famitsu review), it's getting voted down really hard on Amazon.co.jp.
Edit: Holy fucking shit, they added Baoh as DLC. Fuck.

Has there been any info on this possibility seeing a release outside of Japan? (I kinda hope so. I mean, if a Saint Seya game can get a release here in Australia, you'd think a Jojo game could. Then again, maybe Saint Seya has more visibility a series in the US?(I know dumb enough to think we here in Australia would get a game that doesn't 1st come out there) I don't really know)
Those videos on page 3 make me sad that I only really know and have read (Online, but I'd totally buy localized versions if somebody here sold them in English...but I believe parts 1 and 2 got skipped in the US...) parts 1, 2 and 3.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an EU release, but you can probably forget about a US release (although the title was trademarked in the US anyway just to be safe).

If you haven't read the manga, definitely watch the recent animu - you can find it streaming on uh "grey market" sites on the web thankfully. I'm sad because it's probably not getting released in our countries - I was holding out hope until AnimeExpo, but it's probably not gonna happen. In the end I ended up getting the Blu Rays because they're English subtitled and I am obviously a hopeless Jojo fan, but they're retarded expensive as per the Japanese standard and I feel somewhat guilty and depressed for doing so. As for the game, I'm hoping that if Saint Seiya does well they'll consider it for release in western territories, but I'm not holding my breath on that either.

I'm a bit too paranoid to go searching for anime streaming sites on my gaming PC. I may decide to get a 2nd "download crap" PC one day, and the Jojo anime IS on my list of anime I badly want to see.

If the One Piece games are any indication, Download-Only is the best the US can hope for, though the EU may get a disc release (to the Zavvimobile~).

Wow, now that it actually registered to me that the game was made by Cyberconnect 2, who were responsible for the god-awful Soul Calibur V single-player, my expectations immediately dropped to zero. The game has garnered extremely negative user reviews at least in the Japanese Amazon, what with the single-player content being near nonexistant and everything being a DLC despite the game costing over 7000 yen. True enough, prices seem to have plummeted...

Every time I think about it I visualize my head turning into a lollipop with the word "sucker" written on it like in a cartoon.

So, this is set to release in North America on the 29th of this month. The demo is up on PSN if anyone is interested. The demo has Jotaro, Caesar, and the Phantom Blood version of Dio playable. Arcade mode is the only mode available. Each character fights three other characters, with the last fight being against a character you cannot choose. Dio seems to always fight Avdol, Jotaro fights Gyro Zeppeli, and Caesar fights Wham (the only one that makes sense).
I've been having a lot of fun with the demo even though it's fairly limited. It's pretty shallow as a fighter, but man is it fun. Phantom Blood Dio is my favorite of the three provided.

From what I played of the demo, it's too shallow for me to really get into. I'd want to play Story mode if I already read the manga, but since the anime is only up to Stardust Crusaders I'd rather watch the story via the anime than this game.
