Metal Gear Online doesn't come to PC until January. What I played of it on PS4 wasn't so great - I never played it on PS3, and only had a limited chance to play it on PS2 with subsistence. I'm sure I need to play it more, but it felt very cheap, and it was easy to be forced into respawning right into a camper's sites repeatedly.

As someone who never plays online multiplayer, I've enjoyed MGO. I think its the simplicity of it I guess. Quick match making and fairly quick rounds make it more playable for me.
I like the FOB missions more though. Some of them seem damn near impossible once cameras and drone come into play. I have no idea how to sneak past them.
I loved the subsistence missions. I wish there were more missions like that.

Really? I love that place, lol. I find it so much fun. I've done it so many times I can clear it without any enemy combat alerts with little difficulty, even if I opt to not fulton any soldiers until the outpost is captured. I think it's incredibly well-designed.

I used to hate that one, but now it's not bad for me - the one that I still find seriously annoying is Quarya Sakhra Ee, that one with all the huts built in the hill. It's not that it's hard, it's just so broken up that it always feels so tedious to clear out (so I usually just head for the target and run).

Quarya Sakhra Ee Is the worst. I usually just sprint through with hopes of a sand storm

I usually just sprint through with hopes of a sand storm Same here - D-Horse is pretty good for getting past it too (I've come to miss him, since D-Dog tends to trump him for my playing style bc of his searching and fulton skillz). D-Walker's probably my least favorite buddy - I've only had any use for him in the battle against Sahelanthropus, his non-lethal stuff is universally shit. I haven't deployed him since I got that black ball head yet, though, so we'll see - I've heard some people say he's great for clearing outposts on his own. One place that I'm pretty bad at but really like is OKB Zero, it's a really fun design to me. I always get hung up on the damn security cameras, or making little mistakes that get an alert, but it's still fun with all of the tunnels and different paths you can take.

D-Horse is great for Code Talker[Extreme]. Those sniper are hell to fight. But D-Dog has become my go to buddy as well. And I don't really care D-Walkr either. I keep upgrading it though in hopes that it becomes useful. OKB Zero has grown on me too. I do ok getting in. It's getting out that I have a problem with.

D-Walker is just like Huey. A total waste of space.

D-Walker is just like Huey. A total waste of space. On the bright side it doesn't try and justify its actions with bullshit .

All this time, I still have not been able to clear Mission 50. I just don't get how it's done without being lucky in dodging attacks and using a million supply drops.

All this time, I still have not been able to clear Mission 50. I just don't get how it's done without being lucky in dodging attacks and using a million supply drops. Drop in with Battle Armor, CMG 25, and a strong grenade launcher. Sprint to the right over to the armored truck with the missile launcher. Hit it with the CGM once or twice while running. Get in the truck and hit it with as many missiles as you can, using the machine gun while reloading. Switch to the tank once you run out of missiles or it destroys the truck and use the same strategy. That'll take out a huge chunk of its health. After that just switch between rockets and grenades while strafing it and waiting for supply drops. Hit the white canisters for extra damage and remember to switch to your grenades when mantis kid shows up for the lunge attack. I got an S rank with this strategy.
