I would also like to be able to craft end-products right away. If my fishing rod breaks, and I have the 5 twigs and 1 Iron Nugget, just let me make the new one instead of having to craft and then upgrade the flimsy one. I don't know if you knew this, but you can customize your tools to refresh their durability. It's still a little tedious, but it beats having to go through my storage to look for a bunch of twigs each time. I always keep my customize kits next to the crafting table outside my house for easy access for that reason. The game could definitely use some QoL changes. AC has always been a little tedious, and it's kind of the point some times, but I feel like I'm kind of losing my patience here and there now that I've played the game for 3+ weeks. It's small things, but they add up. I also keep hearing the same villager dialogues quite often this time around. I love the dialogue in the game, but I feel NL had a lot more variation for some reason. Maybe I'm misremembering. Anyway, still really enjoying the game, thankfully.

There's also the weird way that traveling to a Mystery Island has gotten so much more expensive than going to Tortimer Island while the rewards are so much lower. It only cost 1,000 bells to travel to Tortimer Island in New Leaf and it was guaranteed to be full of high valued animals. It's the equivalent of 12,000 now (4 bell vouchers x 3,000) for what may be little rewards. Doesn't seem worth it to me unless there's some way to guarantee you don't end up on some mediocre island.

Tortimer Island was so great. But I guess they don't want you to make money as quickly anymore. You could be so rich so quickly by just visiting in the evening and selling the palm bugs. I don't know if you knew this, but you can customize your tools to refresh their durability. It's still a little tedious, but it beats having to go through my storage to look for a bunch of twigs each time. I always keep my customize kits next to the crafting table outside my house for easy access for that reason. Honestly, I always just have the bare crafting essentials plus the crafting table in my inventory. This way when something breaks I can just put it down right there and re-craft on the spot. Though I don't know if it is the game in general, or the awful Bunny Day period put a damp on it. But I currently lost my drive a bit. I still quickly jump in every day to do the half hour dails necessities, but that's about it. They really should have seperated Bunny Day and Sakura Blossoming, that way the first half of the month would have felt less stressful while there would have still been something going on currently to work up to. K.K. just visited so I can terraform now, but I'm simply not in the mood for it currently.

I pretty much just do the daily things right now as well. Checking the shops, finding the money rock and hole, and making sure I talk to everyone. And of course checking the turnip prices twice a day. But AC always reduces to that after a while. I have yet to get K.K., but other than that I have everything going on right now. I already have each type of villager personality as well. The good thing is we got updates to look forward to with this one. And of course the typical holidays, but I believe those have been reduced in number over the years. I kind of understand the removal/change of Tortimer Island. It was honestly a little too easy to make money on there and it was pretty much the main way for me to make money. So as much as I liked Tortimer Island, I think the change is for the better overall. Right now, in ACNH it's much more spread out, and I think that's more rewarding. It makes having an orchard with foreign fruit for easy access every three days, seeking out the money rock, planting money trees each day, doing well on the stalk market and taking the time to fish in the rain much more important. Losing money on your turnips can't be made up anymore by a single trip to the island. Waiting to sell your expensive bugs and fish until Flick/CJ visits is also a fun way to make players resist the urge to take money now in order to get more later. I've also read, but I believe it's unconfirmed, that if you go on tour wearing DAL merch, you have a better chance to get special islands.

Finished Gyakuten Kenji 2, the second Miles Edgeworth game. Even running the risk of establishing myself als The Game Hater (TM) lately, I did not thouroughly enjoy it. I still very much like the quirky characters. Their fun animations, perfectly timed to the punchlines. But god have these Ace Attorney games gotten wordy! I feel like the first three games managed to be as funny and as well thought out but managed it in half the time the newer ones take. It's also like a tour de force of bad japanese writing. People constantly repeat themselves, point out the absolute abvious, flash back to things that happened ten minutes ago. The ending is especially bad. The connecting themes between the cases and involved characters in this game are painfully obvious to begin with, but the ending just keeps spelling them out one by one... and then another ten times in case you did not get it. It refuses to shut up.

Starting to see reviews of the TurboGrafx-16 Mini, which had me confused for a while. The thing is not out yet, right? I’m waiting for the european version but it seems to be delayed indefinitely. But since even Gamespot is reviewing what I’m guessing is the official US version, maybe it’s not too far away? What’s the story here? What’s the status? I want this thing real bad

Playing MGS2 Sons of Liberty for the first time in over a decade. I was always ambivalent about Raiden--never hated him, just kinda "meh" on him. In truth, I kind of preferred him in this first game here before they made him more of a super-ninja "badass" which was just completely ridiculous.
MGS2 has a lot of good ideas. I like the structure of this game, the feel of dealing with terrorists holding a big complex hostage was a cool idea, and it has a lot of fun little scenario objectives. But the dated controls definitely make it more of a struggle in an increasingly complex world design. MGS1 controls were fine for MGS1, but here it definitely feels like it would have been more successful to fans if it had the MGS3 Subsistence control scheme instead.
It may also be the most difficult of the mgs games, and I die a lot in many of them (except mgs4 which is pretty easy). I'm never stuck, but I see a lot of game overs with Rose's "Jack, what happened. Come in. JACK! GASP" If you get caught, you're probably gonna die unless there is a shaft nearby

I never had an issue with the MGS2 controls, but had a whole heap of trouble with the pressure sensitive aspects of MGS3's to the point that I've never been able to finish it. I should try the 3DS version and see if I can get around that problem in that version.

I bought a couple of games on Ebay that were released by Limited Run Games and been wondering what other companies that are similar to them. Their releasing physical copies of games that one can get by downloading on Steam or GOG.com in limited quantities. Just like to see what else there is for companies like this.

Special Reserve Games seems to work closely with Devolver Digital to give some of their titles a physical release. Might wanna check their site out.

In addition to the mentioned there's Hard Copy Games: hardcopygames.com/Strictly Limited Games: www.strictlylimitedgames.com/Red Art Games: www.redartgames.com/iam8bit: www.iam8bit.com/collections/collectors-editionsPlay-Asia Exclusives: www.play-asia.com/exclusivesand probably a bunch of other I'm forgetting. LRG typically puts out the most games and gets the best ones.
