Money equals love, I suppose? I actually see a soulless corporation sucking at pretending to care as a positive, for what it's worth.
Frankly, who needs them anyway: Games are full of beautiful rainbows already.
I noticed that this year especially people are really bashing corporations' attempts to pander to the LGBTQ crowd, especially since they come off as really insincere and overly positive in a moment when everything seems to be going down the drain...
In other words, I have for the moment put Blasphemous aside... only to focus on another medieval pixelated metroidvania, Cathedral! Though despite the title there's nothing overtly religious about it. Still hard as balls, however. It really does look like a title made in the early 90s what with the NES-styled graphics and annoying chiptune BGM, though it may have come out too late now that the market is getting saturated with those faux-retro games. And the generic title and protagonist (faceless, voiceless armor dude with no personality) don't help. But the devs made the engine and everything from scratch, so it's not their fault that it was released so late.
As an aside, I bought it in a bundle at a small price, so there are a couple games I have no interest in, if anyone wants them I'm going to write in the Steam keys topic... but does anyone read it? Maybe I'll just have to list them here.

Tail Concerto is getting an art book… Fuga is on its way then I assume. I really hoping Tail Concerto gets a port I always wanted to play it ever since playing Solatorobo.

You couldn't possibly be suggesting companies such as Disney are insincere could you??? Disney is absolutely a rainbow ally; just so long as those rainbows are Russia and China appropriate of course. Nobody's lifestyle should harm their important revenue streams.

So about halfway through secret of mana. It's a janky mess of a game with so much wrong. I'm playing a retranslation as everyone says the Ted Woolsey translation is bad but again ted's localisation was pretty spot on, the story and dialogue are still slight and barely there. He gets way too much flak for his stellar work.
So much wrong with this game yet I find it so compelling. Can't stop playing it. Definitely going to finish it when I'm back from my break from work.

Nice art! The handshake between the Blue Bomber and Astro is pretty clever since the former is partially based on the latter. I really should experience more Tezuka media and my Metropolis DVD alone is not going to cut it (I have other stuff though).

I decided I was going to start shopping for some physical copies of older games I've been wanting hunt down or reaquire (mostly ps1 games) and I see now I picked the worst time to do it.
Someone is trying to sell the manual to R-type Delta for a hundred bucks. A manual. And now the spine card to Silent Hill for 55. You know, that thing you can likely get speacially printed at an office max for maybe 8 dollars.
Hells bells.

Let me put it this way: Struggles and victories of several minority groups to get recognized as mere human beings seem to be significantly diminished by the fact that, step by step, basic human rights are taken away from everybody (except for a few rich a$$hole$, some of which owning those feel-good-companies, of course). But don't worry everybody, it's for our own good really...

Of course Nintendo has to be on the last day of the show. Perhaps being the best game designer and publisher (in my opinion) they save the best for last. Any idea if Electronic Arts going to show? I believe I saw a video I didn't watch that said Dead Space is coming back and it would be seen at E3.
