Incidentally, I think I've mentioned this on here before as well, but the name "La-Mulana" may be my favorite game name of all time, simply because of the many, many layers of meaning behind it. Like the rest of the game, Naramura-san put a ludicrous amount of thought into it, creating a name that both sounds cool and is highly significant on multiple levels. Truly a thing of beauty. -Tom Care to elaborate on that? I only knew that "Ramurana" is "Naramura" backwards, what are the other hidden meanings?

Truly a thing of beauty. -Tom Care to elaborate on that? I only knew that "Ramurana" is "Naramura" backwards, what are the other hidden meanings? Mostly just what La-Mulana means in the fake language of the game. It means "The Mother." Which seems like a logical translation for the term, but is also extremely relevant to the game due to the far more dire spoiler I'm going to post below. Not only is the entire game about The Mother, but the entirety of the game's world IS The Mother. So the name refers to the impetus for the game's plot, the location in which the game takes place, and the creator of the game, all in one. -Tom

Why is the man having an "O" face? Lots of freudian slips in this one...

*shrug* i took it for anguish, like the thing mid-transformation. But your take makes more sense and is funnier.

Those all looks like Yes album covers. which is no coincedence, since they were made by the same guy, roger dean... Oh wow, that's neat. I think that style of art is really cool as well.

I kinda like the original Star Fox cover if only for how puppety they look. Like it was from a Star Fox movie that never existed.
