sotenga: Do you have a firewall or a router in between you and the internet? If so, you should look into your port forwarding settings to open the IRC ports (IIRC 6667 for IRC, 113 for Identd and HELL I CANT FIND DCC) I'm wagering that's it. I'm running off my college router most of the time anyhoo. What commands do I input to bypass all that crap and get to the party? Oh, and Rorschach, not only did you not replace Danowar's generic picture with his (awesome) new avatar, but the place where you DID put the new avatar is right next to me... with my name below it.  |

Man, that HG101 yearbook does nothing but get more and more awesome. For such a small room, we have alot of ops It's like that because not everyone registers their name, and I'd rather make sure to always have Ops around in case someone decides to come in and be a retard, rather then risk having none. Also, there'sreally no reason not to op people until someone decides to be really lame and ruin it for everyone else. At least, that's how I see it and it's how things are done in other channels I go to. |

Well, you just have to access your router config and put a few port forwards to the aforementioned ports into it...that would be all if I remember correct |

Thats cool, most of the rooms I've been in, its all about power tripping ego heavy people who become ops and then start banning everyone who disagrees with them. Its usually pretty gay. So this set up instead is good. Edit: Well you guys totally missed me get my mack on with Aphasia. |

Thanks to IRC, Aphasia, Ashilyn, and... I believe Onyx and thebagofsand helped me on some anime recommendations. Y'know, anime that counts, none of this mainstream cliche carp. Unfortunately, my damn college router isn't allowing me to utilize any sort of IRC dealy, so I'll only be able to pop in on the weekends that I go home... which won't be this upcoming one. Sawwy.  |
