Okay, first off, I'm 99% sure I'm the only one on the Internet who honestly liked "I Am the Wind", and hated how the later releases replaced it with genric BGM.
Second, I've always loved the Virtual On soundtracks, despite the fact that I remember most game reviews bashing them...
So, anyone else have any?

It sometimes seems like I'm the only guy that likes the Sub-Terrania soundtrack, but that may be because I'm the only one that's ever actually listened to it. Everybody else I ask about it usually doesn't even know what Sub-Terrania is.

^You're not, I love the Sub-Terrania soundtrack. Especially the ending tune The game itself isn't too hot though. I don't see anyone mentioning Chuck Rock 2, an awesome soundtrack to me (MD version at least).

I don't know. This is hard...
I think I'm in the minority as far as liking the Sonic Adventure songs. A number of people have been pretty vocal about their dislike of the soundtrack.
Also I feel like I'm the only one that liked the "We Love Katamari'" soundtrack more than the original.

Well, you don't have to feel alone about liking the Sonic Adventure soundtrack.
As for We Love Katamari...I liked the theme song more, but didn't really notice the rest of the soundtrack. Somehow, the game always felt too clunky for me compared to the original...

I kind of get the feeling that I'm the only one out there who prefers the ThunderForce 3, 5, and Broken Thunder soundtracks to nearly anything else out there, game music-wise.

Pfft, not even close. The Thunderforce soundtracks are highly acclaimed, even amongst those who don't like shmups!

Sub-Terrania is awesome. People should be pleased to know that the soundtrack was done by Jesper Kyd. He of course also did Red Zone and Adventure of Batman and Robin. Then went on to do Hitman, Freedom Fighters, etc.
Me, I absolutely love the Genesis Shadow Dancer soundtrack. It's one of my favorites on the Genesis and one of my favorite game soundtracks ever. I'm sure it's liked by some people but I never hear it being talked about.

It may be that I'd be willing to bet it generally gets overshadowed by Shinobi 3's soundtrack (which is quite excellent in its own right).

I think most old-school Shinobi fans who grew up in the arcade era or where a part of the Genesis launch prefer Shadow Dancer/Revenge of Shinobi's soundtrack over anything else in the series, and that tend to be the most loyal and if not numerous Shinobi fans.

I love 'I Am The Wind', adore the Virtual On OST's, and Sonic Adventure is one of my favourite Sonic soundtracks Soundtracks I LOVE, and I've never really heard anyone talk about, are as follows: *Battle Arena Toshinden Remix & 2/URA (SAT/PSX) - Awesome synthy almost eurobeat-y type stuff... Remix on the Saturn has a fantastic exclusive song -Cupido's Theme- that kicks large amounts of ass (think Dracula Battle and you're getting close). The second game was less euro-synth and more jap video game, but still just as fantastic, and catchy as all hell. *Sega Rally Championship (SAT) - Some of the greatest Sega Driving tunes around... nothing else out there sounds like Sega Rally.) The Desert Replay track is pretty amazing. And Conditioned Reflex is absolutely classic. *Cyber Speedway/Gran Chaser (SAT) - The Euro/Jap versions had some of the best traditional game music around. Almost approaching space-synth in feel, the soundtrack featured catchy melodies and a great 80's vibe. Highly recommended if you can find it anywhere. The US version replaced all of this great music with some crappy hillbilly tosh by the Bygone Dogs that didn't fit the game at all. *Shadow of the Beast II (Amiga/MD) - These soundtracks seem to be held in pretty high regard, but I've never seen it come up in conversation at all, hence it seems a soundtrack that I've only really latched onto. Although it has to be said, I much prefer the MD soundtrack over the Amiga's selection of MOD tunes. They were ported across amazingly well, and the MD's FM synth really does justice to the compositions (and in some cases, betters them. Take 'The Cell', for example... added harmonies, arpeggio's etc). I highly recommend checking it out!
