It's ok. Sometimes it's easy to get worked up about stupid things, or people. Like wanting to talk about how if you met someone in real life you'd want to throw piss in their eyes because they're such a smug piece of shit, but not being able to.

É hate all these younger guys who used to watch anime like crazy they don't anymore (apart from 2-3 mainstream ones a la Code Geass) yet they insist to keep spamming with quotes like "The new anime sucks!" without watching even one of them. And I don't even talk about older guys who were watching many kinds of anime since early '80s but these young ones who were watching mainstream ones like Dragonball and Digimon and they think they're the best shows of the universe. Stop pretending to be oldfriends! You're not! You're just some annoying brats who like to act cool! And yeah, Digimon Adventure is overrated. Later Digimon anime like Tamers are much, much better (apart from Frontier which sucks). And no, AVATAR IS NOT AN ANIME! honestreply the fact is that in any community of subjective taste like anime or tv or games the trolls will always always outnumber you into perpetuity so don't waste emotions on them Also this is sort of a dumb thing to get mad over because opinions about anime are entirely subjective anyway |

Generally I'm pretty good with reading the shit I have to read for my classes, cause I like reading, but for one of my classes we focus on the Iliad for weeks and weeks and weeks and lord this thing is really boring. It kinda boggles me how I can find a story that consists almost entirely of graphic descriptions of being getting killed so dull. The parts when the gods are being assholes are pretty interesting, though, but that's only occasionally.

Reminds me of the time I had to read "In the Heart of Darkness" for my comp 2 class. Holy crap did I hate reading that book and I still dislike. Make it worse I had to write a freaking paper on it also. That is all we did the entire class.

That I had to cut ties, permanently, with one of my longest-running friends (and the first person I ever had a relationship with.)
I've been riding one of the larger 'up' streaks that I've had in a while (I suspect that I'm somewhat bipolar, considering my mood swings), and I've felt at least somewhat more clear-headed then I have in the recent past, so I've been contemplative and trying to figure out how to move forward in certain creative aspects (but I'm never sure how to start, that...), and move forward with my life in general. 2013 has been better to me than 2012 so far out.
So of course, they have to come in and try to drag me back down telling me that I'm a horrible person, haven't grown up at all, and am bitching and moaning and they're sick of me, etc.
I told them that I really don't need their negativity at this point, when things actually look pretty decent for once.
They, of course, hide behind "Telling it Like it Is" as their excuse for going into attack mode.
So, with really no regrets, someone I've known for 17 years now gets left in the past, and stays in the past, for good.
I won't lie, I'm still a good bit sore that it had to come to that, but I'm at a point where I won't be tied to people who think they have to hold me back and make me feel bad about myself (I've always been good enough at that all by myself). It had to be done, though.
Onward.
