So that interview pretty much confirms my concerns: this is Suda reigned in by EA's leash.


You don't work with a man like Suda and hold him back.

He still looks like he managed to control it though, and contort it into something he wants to show off. I mean it sounds more like Suda doing; you want guys with guns, I'll give you guys with guns. Still, I wish we'd gotten to see Suda's original vision, since it sounds like a whole 'nother beast. Hopefully.

Better look at the George Beast form boss fight, the last one video quickly skipped through the boss fight, watching the whole thing looks even better. You have to stand in the horse poo to win! (oh how childish, yet my inner child loves it).

+Incredible quirky atmosphere
+Very funny humor
+Solid story, with a very nice pace (never gets to tedious, always keeps you on the edge)
+Loved Yamaoka music, gave them flashbacks of there Silent Hill days

-On the shorter side (dissapointed that it only took them 11 hours to finish)

Was going to post impressions, today, but my "release day shipping" ended up getting delayed a day. I must have walked down to the front door of the duplex like fucking 20 times today until they finally updated that it was going to be delivered late.

I'm surprised it came out so soon as well. I wasn't even expecting it to come out this year. The game's screenshots reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 4. It's like the true sequel to that game that Capcom never made.
