Ah, I can understand that as well.
Reminds me a (little) bit of how I felt about the reveal towards the end of Star Ocean: Til The End of Time. (A twist I'm a still a bit bitter about really)

Fucking A. To be honest, I didn't particularly care for that tack in DDS, either.

(A twist I'm a still a bit bitter about really) That one still hurts my head... I can stand midichlorians, Time compression/amnesia causing Eidolons, children playing in a carnival. That one just doesn't work. I've read all kinds of pieces on people adopting it in to the timeline, but my favorite was a piece on GameFAQs the timeline of Star Ocean. He has to wonder that if what Fayt and his parents have done (I forget I got stuck about this part and it's been a really long time) pissed of the company how the hell did the Wise Men from the second game trigger a deletion?

On the subject of a specific ending issue The Relay's HAD to be destroyed - that's part of the point of ending the Reapers domination of the universe. The entire course of cultural and technological evolution took on a different path than it naturally should have because of Reaper interference in the Galaxy. I don't personally see the universe as doomed as long as you left the Geth alive who judging by how quickly they stabilise the Quarian's they should be able to stop the universe from dying horribly. That aside for those of you avoiding the multiplayer, I've been having unreasonable amounts of fun as a Drell Adept.

I'm super pissed at the fact you can't interact with this one conversation in the Citadel. There's some bitch and her dyke lover and they're planning to drop the bomb on the bitch's husband...who's off at war. Yes, it's something that needs to be addressed, but not when it could affect the guy emotionally and endanger him and his squad. If Bioware adds anything via DLC, I'd love the option to exercise my Specter immunity and kneecap both of those selfish pieces of crap.

It does seem odd, considering how you can meddle so freely in everyone else's affairs throughout the franchise.

I just finished the game and I'm seriously disappointed... Not with the ending but with all the ode for nothing special at all, the ending is fine is just not this www.dailymotion.com/video/x3lr55_star-wars-iv-a-new-hope-throne-room_shortfilms. I have played games with way more awful endings like planescape torment and dark souls that still despise it I considere it some of the best games around and never in my mind would ask the developers to change it. Seriously, what is wrong with people?

And now, they are making drama with the Child's Play charity... Wow. From what I gather [not having much time to surf the web, so take what I say with a grain of salt], the RME movement started donating to CP but after a while, CP decided to refuse further donations with them because they perceived it as a publicity stunt by RME: basically, that they were using CP as a means to further their campaign (a "shield", in Gabe's words). However, there are also accusations at the Penny Arcade guys (who are the founders of Child's Play, if you didn't know) that it was due simply because they were critical of RME, so the discussion on whether they were right or wrong will likely go on forever.
As a "neutral" (I've played no ME), I understand the reasons of this "Retake" movement but I think this has gone too far, at least with part of the people involved - some of the angry fans are reasonable, others not. I've seen some of the former telling the latter they can still donate to CP without the RME banner... let's see if they will do it NOW.

I love how gunpornish is game is, there are around 30 guns over there and each one with special features and not just damage.
You gonna love a pistol that shots proximity mines and a very noisy shotgun that fires spikes.

Excellent. Pleased to see this. I think it sets an important precedent for the industry.
Namely if you're going to put an ending in your game, don't do a rush job.
I think I'm going to wait for some kind of all-inclusive GOTY/Director's Cut release.

I am enjoying it and like I said before the ending could be a link to a youtube video of a fat guy falling off a bike and it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Don't really care about endings in game in the least.
Having said that, I'm pleased for all the whiny babies that will get their ending! Now hopefully they can find some meaning in spending $60 and 40 hours of their lives on this.

Well, in this case does that mean if I keep whining about it on the internet I'll get the full 6 epsiode Xenosaga? Or a sequel to Outlaws?

I think it sets an important precedent for the industry. Namely if you're going to put an ending in your game, don't do a rush job. True, but I'm also afraid that it will also make developers and publishers even more averse at taking risks with stories too. Plot twists leading to a bittersweet or downer ending? No over-exposition, leaving to the player to appreciate and interpret what isn't said outright? No no no! Focus Group no like this! Focus Group want "king of the world" ending! Exaggerating obviously, but I really think this precedent won't come without a flip side.
