So we all know that Xseed is already awesome by virtue of bringing Ys and Sora no Kiseki to the west. Is there any possible way for them to be even more awesome? Yes, there is! They could localize a PS3 Wizardry game, for example.

Ooo, I haven't played any Wizardry games before, but this looks pretty nice! ;D

Hey, this was an ESRB leak, not an announcement. Until I get the word, I ain't sayin' a thing. (:

I've never played a Wizardry game other than Class of Heroes (the story behind that is in another thread), so I feel like I should give this one a shot.

Siliconera is reporting it's confirmed for a US PSN release. If they follow the Japanese release pattern and release it on a disc with Town of Imprisoned Spirits later, maybe I'll bite.
I wonder if they ran into any kind of trademark issues releasing a new Wizardry game in the US.

I couldn't get into this game because it seemed like a step back from the awesome PS2 Wizardry games. Going from beautifully modeled polygonal enemies with amazing animation to still drawings was too much for me. But it's better than no Wizardry so I'm glad it's being localized.

Hmmm, I dunno. I think it'll have to depend on the price for me. I still haven't finished any of the Etrian Odysseys, so if I want to play a dungeon crawler I'd probably go back to those... Granted, I don't really know anything about this game and how classes work or whatever.

We fully intend to release the game on European PSN if we're able -- but we've never done that before with a PS3 title, so we have a few things to check on before we can officially confirm that. (:

Nope, nothing of the sort. (: -Tom Which just leads me to wonder why no one's bothered until now. Ah well.

So I mean, who actually owns the Wizardry brand now? Sirtech is long out of business as far as I'm aware.
