This thread's been incredibly argumentative for the last few pages. I won't hesitate to close it if it continues to be as such. Consider this the only warning I'll give.

I guess I own Infamous now? Eh. I'd wanted to get it eventually, but absolutely nothing else on the list intrigues me. Little Big Planet looks more like work than fun, but I suppose my options are severely limited here.

The UK release is different- I'll be grabbing Ratchett and Klank as well as inFAMOUS - already got the Wipeout. Not grabbing anything for the PSP since that means an official update haha I think it's not bad given I never go online on the PS3. Ever.

Some (actually, a lot, it seems) aren't too happy, since they already own most or all of the games being offered. It is sort of baffling, that they would give you a limited selection instead of, say, giving everybody a bunch of credits to go and buy what they want, but since I don't have any of the games on the list, I'm pretty satisfied. They're all Sony games, aren't they? That probably lets them not have to take a huge charge on their balance sheet. If they gave everyone free PSN points, many of those purchases would go to third parties, to whom Sony would then owe royalties. Bear this in mind. The number of people affected is supposed to be what, 70 million? Sony is giving up to 4 free games to all of them. That's 140-280 million free games. I doubt they can afford to do this any other way.

There's still plenty of pre-made levels and levels made by others if you don't feel like making stuff. I'll probably do InFamous and Wipeout HD, along with Mod Nation Racers and Killzone Liberation. Don't really care for InFamous or Killzone, but can't complain if they're free.

Wow, I'm pretty impressed by the compensation. Not many games that interest me on the list very much, but the free month of PS Plus is going to be great for picking up some shit in the store I wanted.

I'll get getting inFamous and LittleBigPlanet, more than likely. Wanted to try both, and free is a great way of doing so.
