The problem is that the Nazi soldiers are often seen as pure evil or just comical expendable lifeforms. They were mostly just people going along with something that spoke to their concerns and like a lot of people, didnt think that much about the bigger implications of the movement, because they have a certain security in the crowd and dont have to think too much about what they are doing because lots of other people are doing it. I can think of about 6 million plus people that will call bullshit on you there, chief. Just because you're being bullied or peer-pressured into doing something horrible doesn't mean that you're innocent. As for Innocent Sin, well.. .it is and it isn't Hitler. Without ruining the surprise, it's a hell of a lot worse than Hitler. |

How can they call bullshit if they're dead. Also I found this on Stormfront it explains everything the OP wants to know. The reason the liberal and PC media won't let you play as Nazis in modern games is because every single true blooded man and child would play as the Nazi faction. Politicans would be forced to acknowledge the Neo Nazis and their related parties as a relevant socio-political force, and the way would be paved for a new Hitler, something that Obama and his AA cronies aren't ready for. |

Another gem yes, ive boycotted every WW2 game ever, since they always let you kill millions of germans but almost never let you play as them. there are a few exceptions, but they tend to suck since they dont have real money (since jews produce everything) to hire good companies |

I think Paradox's Hearts of Iron is the farthest you can go as playing a "Nazi" while keeping it tasteful. [Nazi] Germany is playable and you can even have Adolf and co in the goverment. There just isnt any options for holocausts or such.

It's worth mentioning that Atlus JP outright edited Persona 2 PSP to remove the swastikas from the Last Battalion's banners, and edited Hitler's face to be wearing shades.
