I can't decide which version of Genesis was more hilariously awful: Mr. "Gift of the Goddess" in Crisis Core or Count Chocula in the Dirge of Cerberus secret ending. Angeal was at least pretty cool, though. And I loved Cissnei and the Turks in general.

Also, I'm curious to whether or not Square Enix will ever get to the fucking point with this whole 'genesis is still alive' shit.

I'm just hoping they'll retcon the entire Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
Why add to something if all you are doing is making it worse? Really though- Hollander, Angeal, Genesis- I wouldn't have minded them as much if someone had even made a passing reference to them in FF7. Hideous.

This game looks terrible. I mean, the characters are all lanky people dressed in school uniforms. And they pretty much all have spiky haircuts. What the hell, Tetsuya Nomura? You were once a good character designer, and now all you can draw is Kingdom Klones.

Just finished, Overworld looks visually way better than anything from the PS1/PS2 era. It seems to combine elements from the old-school games with more modern entries. Honestly, it remind me of Super Mario RPG more than anything from FF or KH.
