It's too late, Chucat, you've probably already caught his casual and it's just a matter of time before you're one too. It's probably for the best if you lock yourself in the basement now, and we'll send someone over with a big bag of differently coloured rocks for you to line up in little rows of 3. It's not that I don't want use to hang out anymore, it's just that we need to contain this thing before it becomes an epidemic. someone just sent me a farmville request WHAT DO I DO Turn it down. Duh. There are better things to waste your time on than Farmville. |

...Casual gaming in itself is fine with me BUT as long as there isn't an oversaturation of LOLfacebook and "cooking mama type" games. because i will not touch either type of game with a barge pole.my girlfriend will though but my girlfriend also plays stuff like Deathsmiles, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, DJ Max Portable, Darkstalkers and stuff like that. hell, she's sitting on the 360 right now playing MvC3 as Morrigan, Akuma and C. Viper.
so i can easily see that some people play both casual and hardcore games.
It still always disappoints me though that every time i go into any game store most of the shelves are filled with dumb shovelware that's made to appeal to the audience of uninformed parents who think wii fit is a game. i think people like that should be eased into proper genres of games outside of party games and fitness trainers masked as games so they can make more informed choices.
