I thought this was interesting: PSM had an interview with Ted Woolsey where there was apparently a printing error, so they reprinted it later. And in the second version the censor bar covering the dryad's (ent's? tree-lady's?) breasts was too low. (WARNING! page 4 has exposed cartoon tree nipples. ) _________________________________________________ Random Stuff: Wachenröder: Sonic Arcade: Realms of Arkania Computer Game Review strategy guide: EGM blurbs on the Pico, Columns III, Wonderboy IV, and Ax 101: Hired Guns: Lord of Vermillion:

Bloody hell, this is an amazing amount of awesome scans. I didn't want to be outdone, so I went through my DVD archive, found one of Turbo Force issue 3, and put it alongside some other stuff that was ready to upload, when I discovered that someone already has. So all I've got is these two small things. I must set aside time to root through my DVD archives and upload a lot more. Here's a set looking at the creation of Saturn Power magazine. It's good if you're interested in how mags are made. Bianca Beauchamp photography in relation to SiN Episodes, courtesy of Marquis. Probably NSFW: If I have time I'll try digging through my archives properly. EDIT: This is pretty interesting. CVG magazine, back in the day, made a free supplement covering most (all?) of the Tamagotchi clones that were coming out. I'm not into the virtual pet craze, but it's interesting to see all the quick cash ins that were made. Full scans of the booklet.

Well, I appreciate them. I'm saving all of them to my HDD in a folder dedicated to magazine scans (I am a little saddened that no one else in the thread has popped in to say thanks though ). But crikey, you go to all that trouble? I just photograph stuff and put them up. Such dedication is a rare trait - you sir, have my utmost respect. I think I'm going to do another blog post on these scans, bringing to attention specifically excellent examples. The Suikodenb II review is shocking. They describe it as "un-fun" and say it's pointless. It's rightly regarded as one of the finest JRPGs of the generation. The story is complex, mature and memorable. The characters are well written and plentiful. It's a true gem. A perfect creation. I don't think the reviewer played more than an hour at tops. He says it's short on plot? Bloody hell! The thing is 40 hours of complex political intrique, with multiple warring factions are stabbing each other in the back. It makes your avera Final Fantaasy look like a children's picture book.

Well, I appreciate them. I'm saving all of them to my HDD in a folder dedicated to magazine scans And these scans don't usually take toooo long. Most of them are what I saved from my old magazines when I had to cull them (they were taking up too much space). The only ones I didn't cut up were my Nintendo Power and GameFan magazines (and I may yet have too ). The problem with the PS2 booklets (besides wanting them intact) was that they wouldn't fit the scanner bed when opened so it took 64 scans, flipping the images, piecing them back together, etc... about 3-3½ hours. With the regular page scans everything goes much faster. The slowest part is the actual scanning process.

If you lived in the US, I'd totally hook you up with some cheap (but good!) hardware since you could probably do a lot more with it than me Been way behind on scanning stuff in since I've been so preoccupied with trying to play more games (soooo behind...). Glad Corsair is keeping this thread active with fresh stuff all the damn time (not saying I ever check this thread while I'm at work or anything... but ok, I totally do. Except for the exposed nipple. I waited till I got home to click that) One of these days I'll finish scanning PC Gamer US #1

Why does the Death Duel Poster say it has been banned in certain European countries which Im sure is 100% made up crap. Since no Razorsoft games was even officaly sold in Europe. They was Genesis only all their cart game along with another company that never published in Europe Renovation all work on European megadrives though. I have the cart of Death Duel its a odd game would of made more sense to have lightgun support.
