Wow, I love Jumping Flash!. I need to dig that out and play it again.
Also, Gargoyles for the Genesis was that good?

Bloody hell, those Squaresoft games are expensive. $80!! Also, that testers article was depressing. It's not much better in the journalism sector of games.

Does anybody have scans of anything Ghost in the Shell related? Working on a site article, and while it got the cover of issue 1 for Official US PS1 Mag, I can't find scans of the interior. I have reviews for CVG and Manga Mania, plus a PS2 preview in GTM, but nothing else. I also have some scans of game ads (possibly from this thread, I can't recall). If you have any review or preview material, for the PS1, PS2 or PSP game, please post in this thread.

Just dug up the Game Informer reviews for the PS2 and PSP games. Going to have to dig a bit to turn up the associated ads. Pretty sure I have the Ultra Game Players review for the PS1 game (and an ad for it). Not sure how good my EGM stuff from that timeframe looks. This'll give me something to do when I'm stumped on puzzles in Marvelous PS1: Advertisements Aug '97 GameFan Sep '97 GameFan Oct '97 GameFan Nov '97 Next Generation Jan '97 Ultra Game Players PS2: Jul '04 Game Informer Dec '04 Game Informer Holiday '04 EGM PSP: Dec '05 Game Informer Still trying to dig up the advertisement I actually remember of the first game. I have zero recollection of the one up there, but there's a more common one that I totally remember and now totally can't find. Go figure! For the love of god, I have no idea where the heck the not-nearly-as-risque advertisement for Ghost in the Shell is. Still need to see if I can find any ads for the PS2/PSP games. Edit #4 - Found my Oct '97 issue of GameFan. Why was it under my N64? No idea!

You sir, are a hero. That's fantastic. Don't trouble yourself if you can't find any more, that's plenty to go alongside the article.
I'm astonished at the low scores though. I love the entire trilogy - GitS SAC on PSP is hands down one of the best action games on the system!

For me, I think they gradually descended in quality. Exact's game is wonderful but just a bit short.
Cavia's feels a bit rough around the edges, but generally works pretty well and looks fantastic. The Tachikoma bit is seriously underdeveloped and rigid in comparison to Exact's game (where that was pretty much the central focus).
G-artists' game was just weak, imo. Clumsy controls, simplistic level designs, poor framerate...it was pretty much everything I've grown to expect in a PSP action game. Not the worst game I've ever played (hell, I finished it), but holy shit was the loading bad and the cutscenes dull. And there was a lot of loading and cutscenes. At least the weak AI helped compensate for the control inadequacies!

Ahh, I'm running it from an ISO I extracted from my UMD, and with an overclocked PSP. Loading is super fast. Framerate is pretty good too. Though I suppose I am cheating.
What I like is the tactical portion. Kitting out your character and Tachi, and then ordering him about the map. I don't even engage the enemy - I send him out to distract them while I handle the secondary objectives, like bomb disposal.

Well, roushimsx beat me to all the scans that I had, but there is the fold-out poster that was also in GameFan:
