Not really, the point of having separate teams is so we can experience this game in as many ways as possible.

We could put you on a team that agrees to similar conditions. Snarb's all-swimming idea, for instance.

So that makes for a total of 11, 12 if Feynman decides to join us. I'm not entirely sure how teams will be divvied up, but I imagine teams will be no larger than 4 players. I'm thinking each team might be built around a central gimmick or style of play, but I'll let you guys chime in first before we decided on anything!

Im up for the "Police Brutality" team.

EDIT: I should probably suggest a set of skills for this: Probably start with pistols, rifles and low-tech, later on heavy weapons (we can probably handle the GEP gun without any real skill at the beginning). Explosives sounds good too, that way we have another method of dispatching justice and we dont need lockpicking skill to open the doors.

So basically its like playing as a Terminator. Im not suggesting that we kill everyone we see, just that we like to shoot first, ask questions later and that the shooting will be done preferably with a high-caliber weapon or with explosives.

I'm liking these team ideas so far, so I'm going to ask you guys what sort of teams you'd like to join and what sort of play style you're aiming for. That way we can naturally form teams that interest us.

To start this off, here's mine:
Ever since I read a post on the Home of the Underdog forums expounding the virtues of Deus Ex's open ended structure by joking that you could play as a cybernetic dolphin man if you wanted to, it's been my dream to play the game as Aquaman, everyone's favorite aquatic superhero.

As Aqua Denton, I vow to use what little water there is in the game as my primary mode of transport and to spend as many points in swimming as I can during my turn. Since I obviously can't spend all of my points in swimming, I will also spend them in low-tech weapons, since that's the closest thing to superhuman strength the game has in terms of skills. Whenever I install an augmentation canister, I will simply ask myself "What Would Aquaman Do?" and go with the most thematically appropriate aug available. Don't be surprised to load the team save and see that Aqua Denton now has the aqualung mod!

Anyone who is willing to put up with this challenge is free to join me in my quest to become Aqua Denton: the Cyberpunk Dolphin. Or just feel free to do whatever stupid crap you feel like since I assume I'll take to land like a fish out of water when my turn is up.

We are creating a shared dropbox folder to hold the saves for this challenge, so contact either xerxes or me with your e-mail address if you want to be added to the folder.
