Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter for SNES
(i don't like Nightmare, Nintendo should censor it, too sexist)

I think we have a locked thread in here somewhere regarding Ultionus, don't remember what the fuss was all about though.

I refer to Alfred and Alexia scenario, my bad, Veronica Ashford doesn't have anything to do with it Oh, I got the names confused as well. And I just replayed Code Veronica earlier this year! How forgetful of me. Always gets me too, so yeah..a "dress" of mutated Alexia sounds really tempting, need to try that next.

I played Resident Evil: Code X dressed as Veronica many times. Is this while in her fancy dress, or when she's all mutated and stuff? I refer to Alfred and Alexia scenario, my bad, Veronica Ashford doesn't have anything to do with it

Sure, you can say it's not going to turn someone into a rapist or molester etc. However it's still fucking tasteless as all hell- and frankly if you are creating it or playing it for entertainment or whatever, that shouldn't really just be a case of going "oh well, it's just how they choose to express themselves/enjoy themselves". I played Resident Evil: Code X dressed as Veronica many times.

It's a bit surprising, that that study from 10 years ago paradoxically comes from none other, but Japan itself, one of the genre inventors. Would love to get more info on that study and compare it to more recent ones. Video games 'can alter children's brains'

Has anybody heard of Bushiden? Judging by the trailer, it's quite literally a combination between Shinobi 3, Strider, The Ninja Warriors (SNES) and Super Metroid. I hope they get it, because this seems like a step up for indie games. Yes, i mentioned it here a while back. I would be surprised if it didn't, seen much worse projects coming through.

What are the best shmups on the x68k besides Cho Ren Sha? I want to explore that library some more. What are the standout titles? I haven't tried these yet, but they get mentioned most often on various websites for being a standout ones among the others, not including countless shovelware titles: Blue Knights - Blue Wings part 2 Dive on Galseed 2 Hatenkou Hellhound Ku2 Last Battalion Nemesis '90 Kai Olteus II Otaku Dama Scorpius Souhou Blue Phoenix Star Trader Xadlak Zero Master-Striker Zero Rei Zugya

You can easily mix up The King of Dragons with Knights of the Round, just need some Capcom flavoured beat 'em up sauce.

Not surprising, a friend of mine tried to get into Far Cry 4 the other day, and..quit the same day after suffering a headache.

For whatever reason, I find the graphic violence found in old sprite based art a lot more unsettling than what you'd see in more modern games. It's not about time, don't blame me..
