I definitely prefer NES version of Gyruss over loopy arcade original. It features the whole Solar System planets, has bosses, more (different) enemies and an ending.

I still got my Lumines '08 PC release on my HDD. It has since been removed from Steam, but it is based on Lumines II. Although it's missing some stuff, there's an Advance Pack still available on the site, believe it or not. So, i'm not sure what they're doing here, but i guess "Richard, It's Business As Usual". Is that Lumines Live? I've got that on my Xbox 360  Great game, I just stopped playing it because the 360 d-pad just didn't cut it. A PC version sounds awesome, I'll have to see if it's floating around out there. I gave the new one a crack today with my 8Bitdo SF30 Pro, and it was magic!  It's just called Lumines: Puzzle Fusion, but shares the same title theme, so it might retain many assets from Live version. Has mouse & keyboard/gamepad support, windowed, full-screen mode and all that. Great fun! |

Not so long ago, a prominent member of the Gamengai forum (RIP) discovered and was in the progress of dumping an rad two player ninja action platformer arcade board for MAME. I cannot for the life remember the title? Can anyone help me out? I want to know if the game is fully playable these days on MAME. He was also busy with two (not one!) F-zero like Arcade racers... any help on these? It wasn't Hangzo, was it? There was one Taito arcade racer prototype called Vertexer, but as the server is currently down, i can't be certain. I visited a site a few days ago, i'm pretty sure it's not dead. |

Just trust me on this, BotW is one of those games everyone should try eventually, it's that good. Well, didn't want to interrupt Griff, but for me, it's like talking about the music--it's from the best musicians in the industry, created using the best musical instruments..i just don't like the way it sounds. Or food--it's been made using the best ingredients, gathered from the finest regions of the Earth--just don't like the taste of it..sorry. |

I'm not sure how I feel about Mr. X wearing a hat. It feels strange. He looks like Freddy Kreuger. Obviously yes, and he's got a bit of Dolph Lundgren too.  I wonder, if they gonna give him any voice lines this time around, to further differentiate his personality.  |
