Ocean Waves, Tales from Earthsea and The Cat Returns, those weren't directed by H. Miyazaki himself and it shows. Princess Mononoke is in Top 5 for me personally. No one mentions Kiki's Delivery Service these days, lots of charm was delivered with that one.

You know, a lot of times I wonder if you even want anyone to understand what you're talking about. I wonder, if i'd be fun to meet someone from these boards in person.

Mesen has the most user friendly interface i've seen so far for the NES emulation and great compatibility. File sizes on recorded videos are still gigantic though.

Games like Sweet Home, Home Sweet Home '17 or Gone Home are pretty self explanatory, although Sweet Home takes place in a spooky mansion rather than a house. Layers of Fear seems to be pretty "indoors-y" too.

I haven't seen CinemaSins but speaking of Youtube stuff with Cinema in the title I've watched the Cinema Snob for 8 years now and I'm a little bothered how Brad has gotten dangerously close to "Youtube atheist" status with how he's mocked Christian movies in recent years. It doesn't bother me on a personal level and some of it is certainly worthy of mockery but eh, his stuff used to be apolitical, now it's political, in a time when almost everything is political you cherish the stuff that's just for fun. I think he's luckily picked good targets so far. Unfortunately, politics are almost completely unavoidable when your review target is. "Politics on Youtube" is an absurdity in itself and a nice meme at that.

From HG101 article on Shadow Force:
And Brandish games:
Personally, i think a grappling hook in Bionic Commando games is a 'love it or hate it' situation too.
Some dedicated simulators should have reasonably complicated controls as well.

Yeah, it feels like Itagaki's main influences were "make the game hard" and " give everyone huge boobs". It's one of most unique kind of influences there is.

If someone can't get enough of towers, here's one more to climb--Quantum Theory for X360/PS3. Has a "living tower".

You don't go outside in the Kagero/Deception series of games. Forever stuck in the dark and twisted labyrinth of rooms, filled with lethal traps and murderous torture devices.

I can do ok with the original Castlevania however there are some moments I have a hard time getting by without save states Recorded these 2 Castlevania videos for you Griff (no sub-weapons used). Just showing, that everything is possible and worth pursuing, even if it's a small victory in the end

Toy Story lets you explore some building amenities, there's Elevator Action and its sequel set in the sort of the multi-floor property, NightCry has a cruise ship setting, MGS 2 being on a tanker and the "Big Shell" offshore facility, then Portal takes you to Aperture Science Enrichment Center to wonder about.
