Hate to break it to you, but Blizzard is historically pretty terrible when it comes to balancing their games. See the Mercy changes, or Hearthstone for further examples. Having only played some of their older titles, like Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2, i'd say they were pretty good at it. But yeah, good things don't last forever, new staff members probably brought a whole set of new problems as well  |

This is why I can’t bring myself to play Overwatch, I dig the characters as much as the next guy but it has lootbox type stuff as well, right? the game is built around broken mechanics, poor balance and the characters being hard-counters to each other. Contra III: Return to Galuga(MOB)
Contra: Retribution Invasion(MOB)
The first one tries to be the next Contra Advance-The Alien Wars Ex by mixing things, the second is a bit more unique contentwise, but has weird side scrolling shooter sections. Although in theory, Probotector could transform and somehow pull these sort of tricks off, couldn't he?

I've never played any of the Elder Scrolls games myself aside from about ten minutes of Daggerfall. Modern open world games very rarely appeal to me. And Ultima VII is pretty much my cutoff for W/CRPGs. Most games in the genre after the early 90s just don't appeal to me. I tried Baldur's Gate a while back and I didn't like it at all. I don't like any of the character designs at all and everything is so muddy and ugly. I get that it's supposed to be a dingy place, of course, but the aesthetic is much worse than REmake's. Playing on PS4. Isn't the Remake suppose to be pretty monotonous looking? They abandoned some aesthetics by the Island segment, but Castle is gloriously colorful, Ashley's orange and green combo is never boring to my eye. Regarding textures--it's all 3D game, that's expected. |

Batman(NES) introduces its gameplay mechanics pretty much right from the start, but its complexity shows up only in the second half or so. Then, it becomes hard all of the sudden--the question is: whose fault is that-game's or the player's.

Contra: The War of the Worlds (MOB) There's a Contra mobile game?  There're 2 for smartphones released in China and a couple original releases for Java cellphones for Chinese market too. This is one of the Java ones, very short, i'd say for die-hard fans only. |
