I will check that out. Divi-Dead I played it because someone recommended it to me when it was released. It only took me like 18 years to play it. That game though looks like made with game maker. Can you post it? I'm honestly curious. How hard would it be to make a game like that in game maker? I'd like to try to make something like that and spread it around with no info, see some good reactions. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUxVEV1yWd0Also here's the second video For some reason the walls are decorated with Wolfenstein 3D floppy discs...And the game crashed yet again at the end of the video.

Extraordinarily easy. It'd be just a case of even download a raycast implementation. There is an app called Raycast maker or something to that effect that'd be even easier. That said, this seems to run on DS and running a googe search on "DEICE.EXE" which I was sure I had heard before leads me to this: github.com/id-Software/wolf3dThe source code of Wolfenstein 3D. It might be just a modified version then. That said in reddit people are talking about the game and have been uncovering stuff, dunno how it goes right now.

Ha, that was me spreading shit about it on Reddit. Got me a lot of views! The guys over there are good at research. Ah so it is running on the wolfenstein code, that's id tech 1 right? If that's the case could someone make a game like this using one of the doom mod programs? And I'm certain it's running the wolf code now because the games folder contains DEICE and the INSTALL.BAT file. I'll check out that raycasting maker too. Thanks.
Edit : Also it being made using the wolf 3d thing could explain the date of 1994 and the fact that wolf 3d floppy discs are all over the walls.

I don't think the wolfenstein engine had any name >_> and yes, theoretically yes, you could do some basic compiling with the right resources.

I'd suggest either Wolf4SDL or ECWolf if you're planning on doing anything substantial with the engine.

So, I recently got my hands on one of the Twilight Syndrome games, Saikai. (Reunion?). I have to say its great so far, I don't speak any Japanese and I'm really enjoying it. It plays out like a mixture of Clock Tower (It was developed by Human) and Fatal Frame. I say Fatal Frame because there is an exploration mode (The highlight of the game) and you can take pictures of different places in your school. Then when you develop these photos you see that some have ghosts in them, depending on where you took them. If I'm correct this is one of the TS games that Suda51 had nothing to do with, I also hear that it's the most easily accessible for non Japanese speakers. Has anyone else played it? If you can find it cheap I definitely recommend trying it.
